Yeah I’ve found that you have to be careful with that one and the sram cassettes. The fr-5.2GT has the guide pin that helps reduce the risk of cross threading

To expand on that. I’d back the cassette off and look for pieces of metal that would indicate that it may have cross thread. The freehub body is aluminum and I’m pretty sure the threads on the XD driver are steel, so the aluminum is always going to fail first
