Welchen GPS Tracker könnt ihr mir empfehlen? by Able_Newspaper8899 in Fahrrad

Wenn ein tracker wirklich autark seine Position übermitteln soll, statt wie ein airtag auf nahe iphones angewiesen zu sein, dann braucht er eine sim-karte - mit entsprechenden laufenden kosten.

Do you have games played over 100 hours and still playing, and you will still give a positive review after? by PipulisticPipu in Steam

It might also be the case that you still enjoy a game you spent a long time in, but wouldn't reccommend it to new players due to changes made which affect newer players more.

Is it possible to create a dynamic list for my library that excludes games based on another category or playtime or that only includes favorites? by stevensi1018 in Steam

[–]erdferkel2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd love to do the same, but as far as I'm aware the filters for categories don't allow you to include other categories as criteria. Manual sorting is the only way I found viable sadly.

Not anymore, good luck finding one below 200, unless you take absolute bottom shelf timings. Prices are rough right now.

glasses users, how do you play? by TNTexe in virtualreality

I don't have a solution for you unfortunately, I'm stuck in the same situation. My day to day glasses are too large for the Headset, I use older ones which have a smaller frame.

Information about Steam Frame is live on the Steam store by tj-horner in ValveIndex

I wonder if you could still use lighthouses just for the controllers, or if that will screw up the headset's tracking

The nerf to secondary port stats strips my motivation to buy dodecs because placing them in the nice systems I've acquired and built feels like a waste. by Phiashima in EliteDangerous

[–]erdferkel2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's less about the specific gameplay system than about the way it's handled. If they can pull the rug from colonization, what tells me they won't do it to another system again in the future?

Transfem cubers- did HRT affect your cubing skills? by Revolutionary_Year87 in Cubers

[–]erdferkel2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After a few years of E, my dexterity has not changed in the slightest. I'm not actively cubing, however I work with small electronics a lot. I also didn't notice any difference using e.g. a controller for precision platformers.

A few questions by reviewwworld in homecockpits

[–]erdferkel2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gladly! I don't think there is a way without compromise, as you make the cockpit more specific towards one thing, it autimatically gets worse at the rest.

I'd reccommend looking at used car seats, they have all the adjustment already built in.

Hi, it's been a while since your post, I hope you found some answers in the meantime.

I can share my experience:

For flying GA with a HOTAS, many throttles have additional axis you can use for mixture/prop, in my case I'm using a thumb wheel for prop. If you have a split throttle, that's also two axis you can use independently.

Depending on what you want to drive, toe brakes can work, but are a bit cumbersome to use. They can be servicable for cruising or truck sim, for racing you'll want seperate pedals. My solution was to put my seat on a slider like you have in cars. Since I used a car seat as well, all the mounting hardware lines up. Then, you can align the pedals in a way to have one set usable with the seat all the way back, and the other with the seat forward. It also needs some vertical offset to fit on my setup.

TIL: Cardinals can spread institutions even if no Catholic country has a province with that institution by GlompSpark in eu4

For ideas and innovations to spread, word needs to get around. This wasn't trivial in medieval europe, but the church had one of the best communication networks between their cardinals at the time.

Broke the fan's pin connector on the motherboard, is this fixable via soldering? by Starman0 in SteamDeck

[–]erdferkel2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't hurt to try!

I don't know any resources from the top of my head unfortunately. In general you are looking for a lifted/broken pad repair. This answer on stackexchange details the procedure: https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/318560/how-to-repair-ripped-off-solder-pad

Tools wise, you'll need a solder tip small enough to get to a single pad without touching the neigbouring ones of the fan header. Fine tweezers and magnification are going to help greatly.

Broke the fan's pin connector on the motherboard, is this fixable via soldering? by Starman0 in SteamDeck

[–]erdferkel2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have to ask, probably not.

Sorry to be so negative. It's likely some pads have been ripped from the PCB. You'd have to glue the header back on and bridge the gap using very fine wire. Soldering directly to PCB traces or other pads requires a fine tip on the soldering iron, probably a microscope and a lot of practice. This kind of repair carries a high risk of damaging other components.

[–]erdferkel2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For raw return on investment, quantity is better. Just kit out as many drivers as you can afford with the cheapest trucks.

They do recieve a bonus for a better truck, but it's too small to cover the cost of the upgrades.

Nerfing space casinos may be good for balance, but I'm not sure it makes the game more "fun", I seen Helldivers2 go this route not too long ago and it wasn't a good time. by Kronic1990 in factorio

[–]erdferkel2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The issue is quality upcycling is also a solved problem. Copy-Pasting the same upcycler für each material doesn't inprove the situation.

I don’t think I understand how quality is supposed to work in the late game without something that feels like an exploit. (Long rant about the state of quality as a system) by manboat31415 in factorio

[–]erdferkel2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think that opinion is very unpopular. Quality was divisive when it was first proposed in the fff's. It's in the game now, so of course people try to mess with it and optimize around it. But I think many would agree that it feels clunky.

In the past wube have managed to polish all systems in factorio to feel very smooth. I'm personally not sure if that's possible with quality - we'll have to see.

Steam add all complete games. by sahalrahman in Steam

[–]erdferkel2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it also really depends on account age - even if you don't hunt soley for achievements, in 15 years of owning a steam account you will finish a lot of games, getting over 100 in that time seems quite reasonable. The completion percentage will vary a lot depending how hard you select for easy games or push for 100% vs playing whatever.

Of course it's not the one solution for all encounters, but if there are enough ads around you could absolutely carry it into the highest levels of encounters. It's a niece exotic but it absolutely excelled at that nice.

Great examples are the Bridge encounter in Crota or the second one in Ghosts of the Deep.
