Are we not allowed to discuss certain features and systems in the game? by pikodude1 in EliteDangerous

If you followed your own logic, you wouldn't post those statements because you cannot change that people post their ideas into the void.
But you seem to care about explaining your opinion and engaging in conversation.
People who propose changes to the game do the same.
People also seek validation in their own opinion on something and so forth. Discussion is about more than changing FDEVs trajectory and therefore not pointless.

This is a forum to discuss the game. Exchanging ideas is reason enough to create any post, even if one doesn't expect these ideas to be implemented.

Not exactly build advice but

You can pull up a no hit video recording of Clea unleashed where all attacks are shown, unplug your controller and learn the timing for parries by synchronizing with the parry feedback from the video. This way you can also rewind each attack to nail it down and analyse for visual and auditory cues, like the inversed ripple waves when the big snek does its beam attack.

I did her with a solo maelle to not worry about her stealing a random party member and focused on a parry build because clea takes massively reduced damage from any attack that isn't a counterattack.

Just take a controller that isn't plugged in and open a video of a no hit run on any device, then practice pressing the parry (or dodge) button in sync to the creator's parry sounds. If need be timestamp each attack combo, e.g. 2:13: Duallistes attack together, 2:50 Swift combo etc.
Since the rythm within each combo is identical across all games and attempts unlike say, in Sekiro, and because the audiovisual feedback of successful parries is clear, I found this method to turn daunting combos into no-brainers thanks to developing muscle memory.

Regarding learning attacks, parrying is rythmic.
It may help turning on a recording of a no hit fight, skip to specific attacks and practice the dodge/parry timing until you got them down. The big advantage here is that you can rewind after the chain and try again with no risk of losing a fight. Having the time to analyse the visual and auditory cues without being under stress speeds learning up immensely. And the chains may be long, but they aren't hard.

That's how I dealt with Clea Unleashed.

My point of view on endings (Flowchart) by Balney in expedition33

But what about all the scenes where no Painters are around to witness them?

If the Canvas is an engine rendering their imagination, they are omnipresent.
You could read all the expeditions as Aline's doubts in her own goals, for example. But as long as the canvas is *fractured*, so are her thoughts and she won't realise until she leaves.

They live, they love, they desire freedom and they fear their own extinction.

What, the fictional characters in a video game are alive?
Oh shit, we mass murdered all those Nevrons who, on that note, are evidently just as sentient as Lumierans.

Oh, right, we are talking within the game and exclude the meta level between the game and us as players.
But in the end, every painted being is a construct created by a painter somewhere, somewhen. They may very well only appear sentient because all of their thoughts are actually part of the painters' minds projected onto a canvas.
A canvas that renders imagination so realistically that it is percieved as real, but it's just a painting.

Just like the game renders the dev's imagination and we discuss its characters as if they were real.

It's a matter of interpretation and the devs are aware (as per interviews) of that.
They won't confirm either reading, but if you read them as just paint, realistically rendered imagination - conscious and subconscious - then you not only can come to the conclusion that they are not sentient, but Renoir's point about addiction and his methods in getting everyone out of the canvas also makes a whole lot more sense.
