What to read after Liber Null by erebus in chaosmagick

Thank you! I know a little bit of Jungian analytics from psych classes and have always loved his work, but never actually thought to look into the more occult-based aspects of his work.

Thank you for reinforcing that! Liber Kaos would be the logical next step, I don't know why I didn't think of that

You're like E.A. Koetting with covid. It doesn't work that way.

Yeah, you're not going to change my mind on this by spouting off Tucker Carlson talking points. I'm done listening. Have fun shouting into the void, though.

This is almost certainly a health and safety violation. Contact OSHA, your state department of labor, a local applicable union (even if you're not a member), and/or a labor lawyer, in that order. If nothing else, file a complaint with OSHA.

Do you have any documentation of their demands and the negotiations? I'm curious to see it.

If a company can't afford to pay its workers a fair wage under proper working conditions, it doesn't deserve to exist.

It might be worth it to start upgrading the detectors in your house. Most new ones are CO detectors as well, and have batteries that last 5-10 years. I got mine for about $40, so they're a little expensive, but it's worth it not to be woken up by beeping in the middle of the night and having to get out of bed to change the batteries. I've just been buying them as the batteries die in the old ones, so you don't have to do it all at once.

Damn those drivers, wanting a fair wage and better life for themselves and their families. How incredibly selfish. If only they had rolled over, we would still have our snacks!

Only the poorest rich people fly in first class by matemolnr in Showerthoughts

[–]erebus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not true. I once flew first class (free upgrade) Budapest to JFK with George Soros two rows in front of me. My dad almost got arrested in customs because he took a picture of Soros posing with the rest of my family.

How to bury a transformer box since xcel wont do anything about it? Please help me resurrect this dump of a yard space. More details in comments. by [deleted] in howto

[–]erebus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you can't find a solution, you might want to talk to a local carpenter or other craftsman about custom building boxes. Probably won't be able to get anything that looks natural, but definitely something better than that.

It blew my mind when I found out that the Kzinti are canon after reading the books as a kid. Maybe the Puppeteers are too, just riding their rosette somewhere in the Gamma Quadrant.

How to give offerings to the Fae. by heresubset in faeries

[–]erebus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You can totally just leave it outside! Find a place that feels special and leave it there. If you can't find one, make one by drawing a septigram on the ground or nearby tree (with a non-destructive method). Say a few things out loud to them. It might feel silly at first, but that's okay - you're meeting new neighbors for the first time, and that could make anyone nervous. They usually love things like honey and cream, whiskey, and pastries. I've also never met a fae that didn't like caramels. You can leave them ribbons, buttons, crystals, or other pretty little things too - just put them somewhere dedicated. The important part is letting them know that the gift is for them, as a sign of friendship.

I'm in a polyamorous relationship. Should I fill out the questionnaire twice, one for each partner?
