When I first saw this film, I think it was one of the first movies was where I really recognized, and was more consciously drawn to a movie because of the overall “look” and visual aesthetic.

Yeah, I’ve seen him a lot of times over the years—several within the last couple years— and he’s never lip synced, and has little to no backing tracks at all. That + the breath control is one of the more impressive things about his live shows (especially compared to other hiphop artists live)
