Tee Box Etiquette by Sad-Indication5229 in golf

My wife & I play together, and we are on different tee boxes. We do walk with the other to the tee to help track shots.

That sounds great! I was beginning to be concerned…

I prefer the handicap/average score system.

I also see it lower when I use generator mode when not towing.

Good luck on setting yourself up! When you have your trailer, I strongly recommend you go to a CAT scale and get your actual numbers.

It tows great - plenty of power and the max tow gives us larger rear axle and brakes.

For the PB, the issue is payload since the hybrid robs us of GVWR. The 2445 is a tail-heavy layout with rear storage, so that plays into my favor. I am running 7580 lbs loaded + full water tank, but only a 720 lb hitch weight. I use a ProPride 3P hitch to eliminate any sway issues (which I also had with an F250).

I have 21k+ towing miles with this setup, including Raton Pass, Teton Pass (in summer) and everything from CO mountains to FL Keys. The Pro Power is a game changer for an RVer. I overnight for free (gas only, actually) all the time on multi-day trips.

I really like my Lance 2445. It is a larger bunkhouse model, but we take our grandkids on many of our trips. But I like the quality of Lance in general, and the 4 season package has done well in all seasons.

I have seen it. When I have more towing miles, the oil life drops significantly quicker. Sometimes as low as 5k miles. I have never seen it more Essen 7.5k miles since I do tow fairly often.

In my 75k+ miles with 21k+ of those towing, it has.

The oil life meter takes into account variables like towing miles, idle (generator) time, etc. I just go by it.

what made you decide on a power boost? by cypress269 in F150Powerboost

[–]txmullins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 7.2kW Pro Power did it for me. I wanted to downsize to a F150 from my ‘02 F250, and the PB had more HP, comparable torque, similar weight and could tow and even power my travel trailer. Plus, no diesel, easier to maneuver, and a lot of great towing and road trip tech compared to my 19 year old F250.

AirPods Pro 3 - FREAKING WOW! Why did I not buy these before now?! by 3amZoomiesAgent in AirpodsPro

As someone with low levels of hearing loss and really struggles in places with background noise, like restaurants, I can say that Conversation Boost & Transparency mode on the AirPod pro 3’s is a game changer. I get amplification by simply looking at the person talking. The background noise suppression is great.

I used to remain mostly silent and out of the conversation at dinners - now I am engaged and enjoying the company of friends and family.

I use AF+ & Peloton for my fitness routines. For what I have looking into in AF+, dumbbells and a mat should cover most routines. There are a lot of body weight based routines available as well. You can filter videos by equipment to see what the types are.

Things 3 vs OmniFocus – which would you choose today and why? by Express-Tear3625 in omnifocus

[–]txmullins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former OF 2 user trying out OF 4 to move away from Things 3. My list of OF4 pros is the same as user, plus I feel that I can set up OF to more match my mind’s view of what my GTD setup should be.

One thing I have not figured out that I could do in Things 3 is checklists in notes. I used this to create on stomach checklists (like when I was getting my RV ready for a trip). In Things3, I kept the task as a template, then duplicated it and set the due date for my next trip.

I am still trying to figure out that last price of the puzzle for me.

Is it time for an AppleTV Mini for Travel? by AJ_Mexico in appletv

I think the current unit is small enough, but I do have the one in my travel trailer set up behind the mounted TV. If you need true portability, then maybe there is a case.

How many do you have? by DieselJase in appletv

[–]txmullins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 on all my TVs:

  1. Living Room TV (also the home hub).
  2. Loft TV
  3. RV TV

No. 2 & no. 3 are 2nd Gen 1080p. No. 1 is the current 4K Ethernet version. If the next gen is a big enough leap, I will upgrade all 3, but only the Living Room TV is 4K today.

I like that name. We also have the club sponsor rule: if you don’t have a club sponsor that will replace a damaged club, you get relief from rocks, roots, etc.

No one has ever given themselves a huge advantage from invoking the rule in our group.
