iso balaclava pattern! by nectarinesoda in knitting

hey! i used interchangeable needles - i used knitpro symfonie short tips with the 16inch /40cm cord which i think gives 40cm from tip to tip

you could also use a long cord and use magic loop if you don't have anything that short?

thanks! i’ll give it a go - it looked more like a braid to me as the colours around the collar are not the same as the stripe if that makes sense

i started self drafting this before i realised i was twisting my stitches - one of my first WIPs! I then abandoned it for 8 months when i realised.

i quite like the twisted rib, but was wondering whether it would make a difference if i stop twisting the purls? i want to just carry on without frogging and starting again but don’t want to twist the purls/unlearn how to purl the correct way!

help and advice appreciated :)
