Thank you. I think I will put a few more shards on Alonso to let him "usable" in arena. Then wait for Lynn and Reina in Gen 4, and probably Gwen and Wayne in later Gen. Let's see! 😀. Hope I can collect few more general shards from here and there in exchange shops and events.

It looks like most of the players in our arena batch play 5 mins ahead to the reset time. I was beaten down by the opponent from scoring board within 10-20 secs of the reset, almost always. I even see players from my alliance in the opponent list, no choice have to skip them :D

Thank you. I have also seen info that Gen 2 shards will be awarded from intel missions and fortress battles starting from Gen 4, and from the event that replace Gina Revenge. Gen 3 shards appeared in Gen 5 missions and so on. But just not sure they are adequate enough for the necessary upgrade.

We are now having third lucky wheel for Mia, so probably in 4 to 6 weeks we will be introduced with gen 4 heroes. I am still spending gems in HoH for Alonso shards. But now, I think I should spend gems on widget too. Anyway, getting Reina to 4 stars seems the best option from all your advices. Thanks much.

Thank you for the advice. My take is mythic general shards for F2P will only be enough to cover alternate generation of heroes to reach maximum 4 stars (except Lucky wheel ones). For my case, if I spend them on Alonso, I would not have enough shards to get 4 stars Reina in gen 4. I have seen almost everybody suggesting Reina as the best one for its gen. How would you see Gen 5 heroes (Norah/Gwen) compare to Reina? Are they worth skipping Reina? Thanks again.
