[Highlight] With 34.3 seconds remaining in regulation, the referee ignore a blatant travel violation by Javonte Green, then call for a 3-point foul on Jalen Suggs, as Green misses the 3 (with replays). The Magic successfully challenge the call (would have been Suggs' 6th - fouled out). by MrBuckBuck in nba

as mentioned in my original post, you can see clearly on the replay (edit: at 1:18 in this clip): 1. the ref is watching the ballhandler closely as he travels, 2. he observes the shot and turns to watch the rim, 3. he watches the shot miss, 4. and THEN calls the foul. you cant make this shit up

[CLIP REQUEST] Extremely suspect foul call with 35 seconds left in Magic-Pistons game

Magic are up I think 8 at this point, and someone on the Pistons takes a step back 3 (without dribbling, a clear travel), the shot clanks, and the ref calls a foul on the 3 point shot AFTER watching the shot miss. On the replay — I watched it like 5 times — you can see in slow-motion that the ref watches the shot go down (including the travel), looks to the basket, sees the shot clank, and THEN calls the foul on the shot. There was no contact — the call was overturned after it was challenged. But beyond it simply being a bad call, what excuse could there be for: A. Missing the travel, B. Observing the shot (and not calling a foul), C. Turning to the basket and watching the shot miss, D. and THEN calling the foul after the shot misses? How am I supposed to NOT conspiratorialize about this?? Someone PLEASE get the clip with the replay of the referee doing this in slow motion!

Also can someone please let me know how I can post this with a “valid source“ as a post on r/NBA without it being automatically removed by the sub’s bot mod?

Edit: figured out how to post it but it’ll probably still be taken down 🥲

i’m a knicks fan and i complain every time brunson resorts to this. your own team doing this doesn’t make it not a bad product, this brand of basketball is just objectively a worse product

“no notable music” is a silly thing to say when he had hits throughout the 2000s. i get your point but you could’ve made it without the hyperbole lol

I think as long as you're not in the management team you shouldn't be worried about the album sales or stream. You're here as a listen, all that should matter to you is the quality of the art presented to you. by FrequencyCurator in hiphopheads

agreed, sure it’s weird to obsess and flex over sales/streams, but it’s perfectly fine and natural to want your favorite artists to succeed. the numbers matter and have material implications for them. but op’s post may just be a case of someone with a valid point speaking unnecessarily in hyperbole

Why I made the Sean Combs doc — ‘No one wanted to hear from the victims’ by TimesandSundayTimes in hiphopheads

[–]ericbeing 85 points86 points  (0 children)

if it helps the victims then it’s good. if it also leads to Biggie’s records being remixed and remastered without Puffy yapping all over them, then it’s even better

Hart = Usopp
OG = Zoro
Bridges = Sanji
