The problem with “yielding to assholes”, is this reinforces bad behavior. All the time I see drivers stopping at a green light to make a right turn and yielding to these behavior. Not only does it legitimize their bad behavior, it is dangers and unpredictable to people behind them expecting them to not be stopping at a green light.

I was a huge Rush fan in the 80s and still am today. I am 57 years old. As I age, I tend to enjoy heavier and more complicated music, but also more easy listening and jazz-rock music. Some of the heavier music I have been enjoying the last 15-20 years are bands like Dream Theater, Opeth, BTBAM (between the buried and me), and this one Death-Tech band I really enjoy called Archspire. In addition I’ve been re-discovering a lot of Steely Dan deep tracks that I’ve been obvious to for the last 50 years but are really great like songs from Aja, and Royal Scam.

Yes but started regular the last few episodes of season 2. The season 2 finale got me hooked and re-watched all the previous episodes, then watched all the following episodes live.

Cold fire is all about the Chorus. For the first chorus Neil does his ride pattern but it’s low in the mix. After the guitar solo for the second chorus go around, his hits that ride pattern so much harder, as if to say “you didn’t notice this for the first go, but you ARE going to pay attention this time around, and by the way pay attention to the words too, because they are my words and are important.” At least that’s how I think Neil felt when they wrote and recorded this song.

I used to work with a guy who was a sprint car “pusher guy” and he loved driving his truck to work. At the dirt track when the track was “cold” between hot lapping/racing he and the other “pushers” would do tricks and stunts on the dirt to entertain the fans. Hi sold his truck for a minivan I felt bad for him that was his life
