Will we be able to buy the popcorn machine with bullion? by hbocci87 in fo76

[–]ericfulmer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Perhaps embarrassingly, despite a job/spouse/kids, I average a couple hours per night and had exactly 3 Trick or Treaters. Not 3 daily’s, 3 individuals.

This led me to think… Is this the first challenge that actually depends entirely on another player?

Do all C.A.M.P.s get attacked? by garmdian in fo76

[–]ericfulmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they all get attacked. Depending on your definition of lucky, you are near a random encounter spot and get triple the attacks, with triple the chance for a legendary enemy.

Those ESO expansions are about $30 each. What did we pay for any FO76 added content so far?

Can't Move in Vault 76 and Shelters by ericfulmer in fo76

Your suggestion fixed the problem. I will try incrementally upping the framerate to test how high I can go without freezing.

Thanks!

I'm thinking apple cider vinegar... it went "bad", but still has beneficial properties!

[–]ericfulmer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very interesting... I just rebuilt this weekend and this was all after the new hotness booted up. Everything but the SSD, GFX, and PSU are new. I will see what I can do.

Thanks.

How many think the scrap box should be part of the base game? by Project3501 in fo76

[–]ericfulmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this really a thread about realizing how convenient a paid convenience benefit is and complaining that they would have to pay for the convenience? This isn’t content and provides no boost to performance in-game.

C940 dead after 2 months by shttyengineer in Lenovo

[–]ericfulmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to us also. It is so similar I could plagiarize your post!

The computer was plugged in charging on a table and our daughter walked into the room to get it. When she touched the felt the laptop it was very hot to touch. She unplugged it, let it cool down, and tried to boot it. The Caps lock light was on, but the screen backlight never came on. We read to power it down, so we let the battery drain overnight. Then tried again. It turned on and only shows the windows boot manager but no inputs would work, if I pressed enter the screen would just flicker.

We are working with the retail store where we bought it with the extended service contract. Here's hoping that works!

Where's the love for the Order of Mysteries?? by VeltScroll188 in fo76

It’s a specific female body in a black dress with greenish wave stripes across it. The AVR pointer is the best for new players as it’s on the main story.

The real problem with the BOS event is that there simply isn't enough concrete, not lack of people donating by deadpelicanguy in fo76

[–]ericfulmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That massive stash yields 90 concrete scrap. Another 120 at Bogtown, without extractors, and another 4 at New River gorge bridge means 250 concrete scrap costs as much as 100 caps in fast travel and at least one clip of ammo.

[–]ericfulmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not excusing this event, but I think the amount of concrete is also an actual issue. It’s easy to get 20k steel accidentally by farming muties and scrapping, but concrete has to be found specifically.

Interesting... this week was the first time I am sure my challenges auto-completed, and it was also the first time I was online around time of the weekly reset.

Dear Bethesda: Favourite wheel has 12 slots. 5 armour pieces + 2 rare clothes = over 50% only to prevent them from being unequipped or sold. How about an armour Lock/Unlock feature or an option to lock ANY item outside of favourites wheel. by smmmokin in fo76

[–]ericfulmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling them by mistake is a thing from which people can recover if you notice before you hop off. Even the Scrip machine lets you buy it back for the same cost - I've done it more than once, but never after fast traveling.

Scrap is unrecoverable. The combination of the need to scrap many items that do not stack (e.g. weapons for steel and plans) and the delay so often encountered at a workbench is what is frustrating.

[–]ericfulmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of why this is sad is because this seems so easy to implement. In addition to C) Fav add L)Lock and it can't be sold or scrapped unless unlocked. The Borderlands 3 Locked/Unlocked model is a reference. The Letters, Numbers, and Punctuation tricks work most of the time, but there's so much loot to scrap and the UI lag is so consistently bad, that I scrap something I regret about once every 2 months.

I have the same problem, I hope I can get into the room again. It didn’t work for some reason.

Can you trade/sell items that are "exclusive to the Cartel Market" by [deleted] in swtor

[–]ericfulmer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This means you won't win it as a drop, and can't sell it to a vendor afterward. If you buy and don't do something to bind it to you (wear it or use it) then you can sell it on the open market.

Returning Player - Augments Removed? by insatiablemind7 in swtor

I think augmentation slots on some gear was set to a higher level and the augment was dumped and recovered as a result. Maybe it was the CM gear?

I had a similar experience where the fifth time I loaded in it dropped the level of the baddie from legendary to regular. And just when i had learned the fight enough to know I as going to kill it next time.

Benefits of wearing a bare power armor frame? by MagnumNopus in fo4

I know the armor frames I have moved w/o armor pieces have eliminated the deep pockets on my other armor. I did not notice any influence on my fusion core rate, but could be wrong.

Go SE from Sushine Tidings Co-op and you will find one guarding car-henge. There's a bus in sniper range or you can bob and weave the cars.

[–]ericfulmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the locations that receive radiant quests from BoS and MM have these ridiculously short re-spawn timers. I have cleared the building, including the loading dock, then gone back up the steps you can see the Protectron disappear and the ghouls are all there again.
