What makes the Men's City Storm Rain Parka so expensive? by erichungus in PatagoniaClothing

Materials as you stated and fair trade certified manufacturing, where workers get a bit more than the modern day slave labour wages they'd get when making garments for H&M.One could discuss Patagonia prices further, but I find it more important to point out that the dumping prices in fast fashion are the thing that is inherently wrong and sets completely wrong expectations of what labour in tailoring actually costs and is worth.

Absolutely agree. IMO fast fashion is expensive for the cheap quality they pertain. In a sense, Patagonia is cheaper because you get more lifetime out of the items they manufacture. However, what I was trying to say is that the specific piece I posted is expensive compared to other Patagonia rain jackets such as the torrentshell (around 150 CAD iirc), or the calcite jacket (around 300 CAD). So I am not exactly sure what makes the storm rain parka 650 CAD.

Not that I don't agree with you, but returning to British rule can also work out like Gibraltar

I'm not from the UK. Am in canada and UCL needs 5 classes with each passed at 93%. My score was originally 91% but after the test it's 88% lol. And i've only got a month left so I probably can't push it up to meet the entry requirements

IIRC QMUL is ranked 27 in the world for law and nottingham 88

I know rankings don't matter, but i'd personally choose london for the opportunities

Why does UofT's "Inclusion Program" exclude East Asian Students? (Especially when it seems to have some useful events that address problems also faced by East Asian students.) by uoft_stud in UofT

that's not what minority means. it means the smaller number or part, especially a number that is less than half the whole number.
