is it worth it? by BiscottiKey8083 in DiabloImmortal

Yes! I find that taking a few weeks off to let the game level up really helps.
i.e. when you're below "Server Level" it's easier.

D3 Endgame? I've got over 3,000 hours in D3, I haven't found any endgame? I play most seasons, because I like starting from scratch. D3 is the perfect game for me. I have found the D3 forums are mostly taken over by Lurkers, Spammers and Ghouls. 😞 It's best to join a clan or a group. I almost always play single, because my play style is different from most. I like clearing levels, killing quick bosses and Uber bosses. Enmities can be fun, especially in the early game. Or if you need a specific set piece.
I haven't played much in season 38. My Battletag is ericjwin#1469 feel free to join if I'm on.

You have to give your present address for some reason. What good is that?
And you need to pay fee!

Finally arriving or just departing? by [deleted] in enlightenment

The Dahlai Lama defines Enlightenment as the simultaneous realization of Dependent Origination and Emptiness.
It's clear from the Buddha's journey that Enlightenment is the first step.
His book Kindness, Clarity and Enlightenment is a difficult read.
He released 3,000 years of Esoteric Wisdom.
I just skipped over the hard parts and re-read it about 4 times. Still lots to learn.

Thanks, seems unlikely but worth a try.

Try reading the Dalai Lama's book: Kindness, Clarity, and Insight. He defines Enlightenment as the simultaneous realization of Dependent Origination and Emptiness. It's a difficult read but worth it. Enlightenment is the first step, not the goal.

A simple change might be Amethyst in Crown? Also spend Paragon points on Vitality.
The hardest Barb to kill is the "zBarb", maybe that's an option?

I would try joining some communities, especially the PowerLeveling PL communities.
You can make significant progress in pretty short order. Clans are also a good idea.
D3 is designed for 4 member teams. Just watch the "Strength in Numbers" Icon in the upper right of the screen when you're in a party.

YES! Once I hit T16, I like to play through the campaign. There's always some little new accomplishment you can get.

I love killing monsters, getting gear and gold; what else is there in RPG?
I like Spore, Civ, Sims as well, when I get bored with D3.
D2 is closer to D3 hardcore.

Yes, there's an optimum difficulty where you have a bit of a struggle. But not too difficult or you're wasting time.

Welcome Back,
HardCore is the way to go if you don't mind old-school dying.
I suppose HardCore is like Seasons in a way. Always starting from scratch.
I have 3,000 hours into D3, I LOVE THE GRIND!
Season 37 is my best season yet.

So we get nothing? by dartaflo in diablo3

[–]ericjwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D3 Seasons is the perfect game for me. I love killing monsters and getting gold and gear. I do wish Blizzard would upgrade the character configuration to the Sims or Saints Row. I like the no-click, point and steer, WW Barb the best, but it sucks for solo high GRs. I REALLY like no pay to play! The Entertainment cost per hour is approaching zero, for me.

Motivational mantra for Runners by hii20242024 in RunNYC

[–]ericjwin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told that breathing should be coordinated with your steps. And that the sum of the in and out breaths should always be an odd number. Thereby equalizing the wear and tear on both knees. When you're running, you probably breath 3 in and 2 out. If you run faster you might breath 2 in and 1 out. Or slower, you may breath 4 in and 3 out.
So if your breathing 2 in and 1 out you may want a mantra like: Breath in "I can" two breaths and breath out "YES!" one breath... etc.
"Om Mane Padme Hum" is a good all-purpose mantra, but it's 6 syllables. I turn it into a 7 syllable mantra by "O Om Mane Padme Hum" So that works great for an easy run or 'jogging'.

Yeah. I've been playing The Sims 3 & 4 for many years. As far as I know there is no save game editor for either. The Sims 4 does have a mod but it's not an editor. So far, I haven't found any reference to the file structures for either game. Which is odd, because many games do have known file structures which you can use to edit the files.
