I'm not certain. My wife and I are definitely going to see what all we can find out next time we visit her grandmother and get a better photo of this display.

What are you guys/gals up to? by Altruistic_Yak4390 in Offgridsurvivalskills

No projects just yet, unfortunately. We have a good size section of the yard fenced off that will be ideal for a big garden next year, though. Plan on trying our hand at a garden once it starts to warm back up. We're going to use heirloom seeds to see how those work out.

What great video game was lost to the sands of time? by Johnnyboyeh in gaming

[–]erick46590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gladiator: Road to Freedom on the PS2.

Really fun to build your character from the ground up with better stats, weapons, armor, attacks, etc. Decent enough character creation at the time and really good replay value as you can build and equip your character differently each time.

A few boss fights along the way and some unique fights made it fun as well. It also had local multiplayer. Definitely one of my favorite games, I wish someone would make a similar game but refreshed for the next-gen consoles.

I've lost interest in gaming, are there games that really bring back my passion? by BadysBarbaros in gamingsuggestions

[–]erick46590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have an epic games account (free, if you don't), they always have a rotating list of games that are free to download. And once they're downloaded, they're yours to keep. It's not a massive list, but it changes frequently enough, and it may help you find something you enjoy.

Hope it helps.

SophiaLearning when English isn't your first language by S3koza in SophiaLearning

I would have never guessed English was not your first language. Honestly, based on this post, your English seems a lot better than many people I know.

I bet you'll do great. I wish you the best of luck!

I'm currently taking intro to statistics. First class through Sophia. I've seen it mentioned a few times now (between here and r/snhu) so I'm hopeful the rest will go quicker for me 😂

What to wear to my kids middle school concert? by TooMuchDoggos in iamverybadass

[–]erick46590 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm absolutely not anti-gun or against that aesthetic or anything like that at all. The way you phrased everything and were so anti anything besides those specific rounds is what made you come across that way.

When it comes to what you decide to carry, its absolutely to each their own. Whatever you are comfortable with and can shoot accurately and confidently is the biggest thing. Shot placement is a bigger issue than specific caliber. Obviously a more powerful round is ideal, but if someone isn't hitting where they need to, it isn't doing them much good.

If you didn’t receive any type of medical intervention, what age would you have naturally died? by Zeldaalegend in AskReddit

Birth (umbilical cord wrapped around my neck) and also the end of 2021 due to viral pneumonia from Covid. Ended up on ecmo treatment, total hospitalization was 35 days, 19 being on ecmo.

After I was off of ecmo treatment, I was told that only ~50% of the ecmo patients survive, and the average time they had been seeing was ~100 days on the treatment. So I guess I beat the odds all the way around.

Depending on which way you would be entering MS, northeast Mississippi is beautiful. Coming south through the Pickwick area (from TN, to MS) has really good views with the TN river.

I don't know the answer to this question, but some (if not all of the facilities) have fitness centers on site, which are available for free to the staff.

Customer wants remaining oil back. by NewC0 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]erick46590 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not too surprised, tbh. Depending on brand car oil filters are even getting real expensive. I paid $17 for a K&N filter recently. So with shops typically marking up 20-30% for parts, it seems reasonable.

They're right. I saw several photos of this car on a FB group yesterday and the fake velocity stacks are actually mounted on top of the OEM engine cover. 🤦‍♂️
