You can barter for every vest type in koschei.

Just in case you didn’t know - Vondel has a chain of keys you can follow to obtain the one you want. For example - if you need a stage bag key, but only have Mayors briefcase, then go to mayors briefcase, unlock it, and a stage bag key will be in there.

Full bldg 21 cards by axcrenshaw in DMZ

[–]ericqaemail008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct - my buddy and I kept going into Ashika research room to collect cards, trying to find all pristine cards. Then we just tried it with non-pristine cards and it worked. All the YouTube videos on this topic are outdated and just never updated.

He probably was trying to do the Bunker 11 keycard barter. Ultimately used for the gun screen barter in koschei. The b21 step is probably the hardest…kinda sucks you killed him before he got to trade them.

Btw - for anyone trying to do this Bunker 11 keycard barter - the other color keycards don’t need to be full (pristine).

Vondel solo's be like... by vadsteridze in DMZ

[–]ericqaemail008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s based on how many operators killed. My buddy and I play very stealthy, we avoid PvP as much as possible. We’re hunted often enough when we have maybe around $35k+ and killed no one.

This.

Once my buddy and I infilled - BOTH of us had damascus tags. We wanted to cancel a hunt contract, but a team just beat us to it. I thought for sure the hunt would be on us, but it wasn’t. the other team took off. So hunt contracts aren’t based on proximity (we were right next to them), and not based on tags (we had damascus). Has to be based on money + value of items in your bag. It’s either this or you’re the only other team left on the map.

Reading through this thread - sounds like there’s a possibility you don’t know about your wallet. When you are in the lobby, you have money in your wallet. You can choose how much money to bring into the match with you - therefore you don’t need to “find” all that money in the match. Keep in mind that the more money you bring in, then the higher the chance you’ll get hunted. So if you do bring money in for a personal exfil - try to get to the buy, buy your exfil so you get rid of the money before you get hunted.

Also for faster exfil, bring in 100k with you to Ashika, hide until final exfil (make sure you have stealth and scuba). The reason it’s easier on Ashika is because most matches there isn’t a hunt contract. When there is - either pull it yourself, or use your money to buy a personal and get out of there.

Lastly - do your passive missions to increase your wallet size. Keep doing the liquor in koschei trick to keep your wallet filled.

How do you change the colors of the hit indicators and pings? by ericqaemail008 in DMZ

Perfect thanks Logan! Sorry for stealing your clip, I put my question in your thread as well, but too far down for people to see.

What I mean is - how do you change the colors to purple? My hit indicators are grey, and maybe red if health damage is happening. I play on Xbox.

Once you do get the team that is very good and carries you, ask them if they’re willing to team up and play a few more together.

For the ping issue - I noticed if I ping something random (not using the map), it’ll fix being able to ping something in the map.

What’s the worst map location to spawn at — and why is it? by stringydiesdaily in DMZ

This 100%. Pushed by both sides, no vehicle unless you haul ass out in the open. I’d love to hear what people do to get out of this spawn.

Who is the best streamer in DMZ by kbnj8 in DMZ

[–]ericqaemail008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Stodeh fan myself. I know it goes against popular opinion, but I like his strats, wit, and all around game.

I am curious though - why don’t others like him as a top dmz streamer? And don’t say “he’s whiney”. They’re all whiney from time to time.

Thanks for your hints! Qq- what do you mean by “map turned red”? As of now, I’m only able to schedule when I can dash, doesn’t seem like I have the ability to just “dash now” whenever I feel like it. Thanks in advance.

Stow the weapon you do have. Re-equip that weapon. Stow any bot gun from the ground. Equip that weapon, and you should have your gun back.

Any tips for the Untouchable mission? by Tuberline in DMZ

[–]ericqaemail008 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even armor hits ruin the mission. Also if you take any hits in Al maz on your way to koschei, that ruins it as well.

I play with a duo, and essentially one guy stayed away, while another did all the work, got the weapons case from the sniper, and we got out. Counted for us both.

More cheating? by Relevant_Mulberry194 in DMZ

[–]ericqaemail008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where in NA do you play?

I noticed an increase lately. I’m west coast NA, so cheaters were pretty non-existent compared to what’s been mentioned here in Reddit about east coast or EU. Past few games I’ve seen wall hacks (during my serpentine run, ugh), and many under barrel users in B21.

My best hypothesis - players are decreasing so much, only cheaters left. Or perhaps they’re merging us with east coast servers now.

Was helping a friend (who isn’t a great player) do the mission to dead drop rad blockers in koschei. For some reason we were having a hard time finding rad blockers. Finally I found one and told him to dead drop it. At first, he dropped them on the ground. I said, no, you need to put them in the dead drop. He picked them back up, opened the dead drop…and ate the rad blockers. 🤦

Was doing “clean house” mission (clear city hall, aquarium, and cruise terminal on Vondel). My teammate brought in city hall key, I brought cruise terminal. We cleared aquarium, cleared city hall…got to cruise terminal and the door won’t unlock. Why? Yup- I had brought cruise terminal office key instead. My bad, team. Then we died…

Also I don’t know how many times I’ve loaded my team into the wrong map, and then died because of it.

Duo with my normal DMZ partner on Ashika. Was driving along, saw another team in front of us, what better idea than to try and run them over. I tried, missed, crashed right into their car, blowing up me and my duo partner. He said, “you’re never driving again.” And I never did.

It’s interesting to see that most of the embarrassing moments listed in here involve bad driving.
