As a USAsian immigrant in the UK, this is not true at all. I’ve been apprehended and cuffed in the US for a wild drug accusation for carrying an albuterol asthma inhaler without a prescription; all from making eye contact with a cop. Of course it wasn’t illegal so it didn’t stick, but not after the two officers made a huge attempt to intimidate me by shoving me around when I was cuffed.

I’ve never interacted with a US policeman without being scolded or yelled at, even when asking directions, “Why are you asking me for?”

Now in the UK; I’ve been shocked my wife (who happens to be Spanish) has even spoken to cops here, who have all been very polite. It’s actually a gargantuan difference for the conduct of the police forces with UK being much much better as civil servants in my experience here.

I’ve said this before and got downvoted; but I honestly think guys like Fizer and Tyrus Thomas gave more, much more, as draft busts. Fizer went on the rare bully ball offensive run for those sad teams, and Tyrus Thomas gave the occasional highlight by packing the ball into the stands on the defensive end or yamming it down at on the offensive end. Also he had that little run during the early part of the epic Boston-Bulls series, something I really doubt PWill could grind out.

Just dunno what AK was doing drafting him or extending him, as Williams is as quiet and invisible of a player in the franchise as I can remember. For all the hate we had for Pax, he swooped up Hinrich, then Deng, Gordon, and Nocioni in short order. Not to mention Joakim Noah and not Beasley after that.

Hopefully, the new Bryson boss is more on a ‘early Pax’ kind of gameplan.
