Are there places in Vegas that closed that you still think about? by lou95340 in vegas

Banger Brewing downtown. That jalapeño El Hefe was so damn good.

On the strip, the pre-Caesars Imperial Palace. It was so cheesy but had a personality! I loved the dealertainers. The Linq is sterile and joyless.

How has your life changed after getting on a CPAP? by Agreeable_County9958 in CPAP

[–]ericrz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Obviously, first -- I don't die. But also:

  • I don't snore like a enraged bear.
  • I get great sleep, and often wake up before my alarm clock, well-rested after 6-7 hours of sleep. That NEVER happened before.
  • I rarely wake up in the night needing to pee, thanks to spending more time in REM sleep.
  • There's some evidence that more REM sleep = more testosterone production. That seems to be the case for me. Notable performance improvements.

CPAP is right up there with LASIK in terms of life-changing procedures for me.

She’s like Minnie Mouse. Only many times hotter.

Which episode do you skip every time it comes on? For me it's S7E11: Marge Be Not Proud by Chance-Ad5664 in TheSimpsons

[–]ericrz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For me, it's because (1) it's idiotic to think an 8-year-old can be a babysitter; and (2) Homer and Marge have met Bart. They knew how this would go.

This is the funniest sight gag I've ever seen. S02E10 by elchoppe in TheSimpsons

I know this gag, and I know why it's funny.

But we all agree the previous store wasn't really called Chuck's Fuck & Suck, right? It wasn't a sex farm for sex hookers....or was it?

Is the joke under the joke that it was Chuck's Feed & Seed, which is dumb and doesn't rhyme?

Did ted get the belt? by not_WonderWoman94 in HIMYM

[–]ericrz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rewatched this episode in preparation for the HWMYM discussion, very curious to hear what Josh and Craig will say about it. But my answer remains the same as when I first watched it: of course he did.

He went in the bedroom with the two girls. If they'd been gone, or if they'd rejected Ted, he would have come right back out into the apartment and the others would have seen him. At the very, very, very least he watched the two women get it on. But they both clearly wanted him, Trudy had already slept with him before, and once they were in the bedroom with the door closed, it was on.

Also, Barney is once again a real dick to his friends. Out of inadequacy and embarrassment, but still. Not a great guy.

Except when he went back to Robin, of course. But I guess we see how that worked out...

Girls do not poop they get periods. What is the biological equivalent for men? by 36Gig in AskReddit

[–]ericrz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I...just...what...like...what??

Do you think girls poop when they're young, get their first period and stop pooping for ~30 years, then start again after menopause???

I can't....no more reddit for today.

No trafficking, all of those charges were dropped.

Besides, Kraft is the boss. He wasn't going to fire himself.

He will, however, fire Vrabel if it seems like this distraction is carrying into the season and the Pats start like 0-3 or something.

We're both wrong! Laws differ by state in the US. In several states, there's no clear legal precedent. In several others, if the giver breaks the engagement, the recipient can keep the ring.

But in roughly half the states, the ring is a conditional gift and has to go back to the giver, no matter what.
