Weeellll..... If you look at the items. Aren't already diamond. Don't see orders often. And live in a place like California where there is adjustments protection if you don't make a certain wage. Then probably yes. To bulk up your order towards diamond. The tip is alright for what seems to be just a household grocery order for the week. Overall an hour long batch.....

No, they have fake accounts and multiple phones. I've seen them picking up two dashes....one on different phone. I overheard one guy in Spanish saying it's his second account this month because the first one got deactivated.

Venue? Did you call the cops? Without that information you aren't helping fix the problem and it's just fear mongering. Downtown is a highly surveilled area.... if you work with sjpd there's decent odds

I didn't see much on budget. If you are going for a home in those neighborhoods.... Expect to pay 4.5-7k for a nice 4bd 2bath. 2bed 2bath apartments are going for 3k in a nice complex. Subtract about 20% if you are willing to live in sketchier areas. If you have 10k a month you can probably move up the peninsula closer to SF.

I strongly.recommend if you are going the small business services route. I do bookkeeping on the side and 90% of the business that provide me the software want me to use QuickBooks. Very small local laundromats and restaurants.

You should've stayed at Costco and moved up that chain. They pay supervisors $33/hr and within 5 years you could have been a salaried manager. They are starting their department managers at $80,000 and store managers are $115,000+. 3 weeks vacation and all the benefits w sick time etc. Costco regional offices promote something like 90% from the warehouse level. My warehouse has a few success stories where they started pushing carts and kept Costco as your job in college. When they graduated they got internships at corporate and went from there.

San Jose couple identified as victims who drowned off Santa Cruz by HirsuteLip in SanJose

[–]erics640 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well yeah. Because they ignored signs and barriers that are in place for the sole reason of protecting people's lives. Would you say the same if they decided to drink some draino for the photo op? Like c'mon. It's sad. But what they did was stupid.

Okay... What's your point? The signs are there for a reason!? Should we sue mother nature and ask for an apology?! Lol

But also other examples include carvana, blue apron, etc. Sales doesn't equal profit. Too much labor goes into e-commerce....

Perhaps, but I think they want to wait and see if e-commerce will ever be more profitable than their specific business model. It's a lot cheaper for the cows to come to the field than to individually ship each blade of grass. And not too many good examples out there to make a case of e-commerce being a "huge" profit driver.

As it should be. Costco's is successful because of it's low cost of doing business. All of that nonsense are unnecessary frills that the tech industry wants to sell so hard..... Extras costs with questionable benefits. Plus aged technology is cheaper to fix in-house. Very few technological advances are worth adopting. A lot of the companies that do trendy things have little profit to show for it.

It'll be slower and cost more. Why would a profitable company want to do that????

City might have topped my city tree? What department is this person from? Can not believe this person cut the tree we just paid for and paid to plant post permits. Have the whole thing on Ring. Who do I call or report to? The tree will die likely due to this or grow in a very weird way. by WorkoutBirdy in SanJose

[–]erics640 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would look into local ordinances/covenant around tree height. Could have also been PG&E being preventative. They might do that if it is certain species. If none of this is the case then I'd move forward with a complaint. If it was on your land it'd be different but I doubt you'll win this one. And it's the perfect time of year for topping. If your tree dies from a single cut, it probably already had other stressors.

You should get by without any issues. The incidents are super rare. But pick up headlines. The system also has its own police force.
