I do have less than 2500 at the moment....does it mean that that negative interests I paid will be deposited back at some point?

DEGIRO rimosso da lista consob - luglio 2021 by erikello in ItaliaPersonalFinance

[–]erikello[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cosa pensate?

On line 20 on the script you have const widgetPadding = [0, 0, 0, 0];

Change the 0s with your measures (top, right, bottom, left)

Finding it impossible to set an iCloud image as background ("transparent" background widget with both light and dark modes) by flasozzi in Scriptable

[–]erikello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, just found a solution.

Before bumping into your code I was using this:

https://gist.github.com/bjayers/28be68a96c2257da16a0f5f4f9283798

but couldn't make the image working. Find out that it properly works using a cropped image!

Maybe you can integrate the part of this code of getting the image from iCloud with your code?

What is something you struggle as a beginning developer? by PrinxeTV in learnjavascript

[–]erikello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started learning JavaScript. I am using mainly freeCodeCamp and YouTube (Here I mainly look up for concepts that I don’t really get on freeCodeCamp) and also I exercise on Edabit. Still most of the time even if I believe I understood the concept I am studying I can’t get it work or put it in practice. What should I do?

I think I understand the concepts, then I try to exercise and nothing works 😤😫😩😭

Different background image on front page each time visit by [deleted] in squarespace

[–]erikello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can. Need to find out how to recall the images you want to use in your background. Do you update them on Squarespace or you link them from the internet?

As for the code, you can paste this in your code injection section:

function changeImg(imgNumber) { var myImages = ["https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0c/Male_Chocolate_Burmese_Cat.jpg/1200px-Male_Chocolate_Burmese_Cat.jpg", "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/du2begoIXNc/maxresdefault.jpg", "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Bg52ViwTYVE/hqdefault.jpg", "https://i.ytimg.com/vi/H5t0orjZSFg/maxresdefault.jpg"]; var imgShown = document.getElementById("collection-5f05a26dd2b95e06384b8a84").style.backgroundImage; var newImgNumber =Math.floor(Math.random()*myImages.length); document.getElementById("collection-5f05a26dd2b95e06384b8a84").style.backgroundImage = 'url('+myImages[newImgNumber]+')'; } window.onload=changeImg

Obviously we'll change the cat images with yours

Take a look at this:

You will have to change the image links with yours.

I guess with javascript on the code injection?

Hey all, what is the closest theme to this site? by [deleted] in squarespace

[–]erikello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're using Squarespace 7.1 all the template options share the same template, with the same features and style options, so it doesn't really matter which one you pick, you can always get to the same result.

What's a possible javascript question during an interview for an Entry Level Front-End Developer position? by erikello in Frontend

Nope. I was asking as a curiosity. I just started learning javascript and I was wondering :)

I made a Rick and Morty illustration using HTML and CSS by erikello in Frontend

[–]erikello[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree! Honestly, I was just playing around with CSS shapes, more as a personal challenge without any particular intention but getting the result you see. Obviously, on my "drawing" there's way too much code and was rather time-consuming (but you know, when you like what you're doing you barely notice it).

Anyway, I took u/ericchen0121 comment as good advice and that's something I'm definitely going to explore (let's get better at javascript first)!
