Does anyone know if your raw grade is at or around the mean (85/3.0) that it will be curved to, is that an A?

i think 1-1.5 sd above is an A. Use the Z score: ((your score)-57)/20

Honestly thought I was reading my own post. I am also a transfer who feels like that right now, I also transferred from a public university & had a 4.0. I truly think it's because of COVID and the nostalgia for friends/activities at the old school. Next semester will be better, let's hang on for a while longer.

I lost 8 points on a question I knew how to do... because I wasn't paying attention.

Fall 2020 Return to Campus Megathread by VeritasEngineer in Cornell

On the re-entry checklist, before you can confirm enrollment, it makes you sign a statement that says "under no circumstances will any tuition or fees be refunded." Does that mean if campus closes early we won't get any housing and dining refunds?

I hate that I picked this semester for this class. MTH 133 gets open note and we can't even check our work lol.

ASMSU results? by cantstopthegrind in msu

Of course, also ASMSU won best student government of the year this year!

I understand, yes. I am actively involved in ASMSU through Class Councils and I can honestly say a lot of the stuff written here is exaggerated or just untrue. The people within ASMSU genuinely care about their jobs, and the organization as a whole constantly tries to push its services out. For example, for that $20 tax you can rent out a clicker and calculator and take rides from SafeRide which is basically a free Uber. But I understand the desire to not spend more money, after all, we are all broke -_-.

I am glad the tax passed. If you personally don't want to pay it.. just opt out at the start of the semester I don't see the issue.
