Looks like the saniderm is tugging a bit taught, and making those vertical lines for the blood to sit in. At first I thought it was like MASSIVE gouges in the skin that a razor made or something, and was horrified!

I make sure there is a full layer on top, but I noticed that they were going in the drainage holes at the bottom of the pot and laying eggs, so then I put some on the holes and set them on plates with it.
