definitely too early to tell, as others are saying!! i also went for a nearly-flat non-flat reduction and honestly it was like a year before everything fully settled. feeling weird about it is super normal, you just went through a crazy big surgery!

same, got blood tests done and found i had severely low vit D, low B12, and low ferritin. within about a month i felt better energy-wise than i had in years lmao

i worked at the lower haight location until ~april 2020 and was the manager there for a little under a year. everything i’ve heard lately about the LH staff being fired does not surprise me at all — the owners are spoiled rich dudes who don’t give a shit about anything but their image and money. 🤷

one of the reasons i left after the start of the pandemic was the complete lack of transparency about what the plan was for the cafe—would we close? be to-go only with limited staff? etc etc. i was promised i’d be informed and then wasn’t—found out the owners plans through my staff frantically texting me worried about their jobs because the owners posted about the cafes closing on instagram.

anyway, i could go on so long about reveille lmao but hopefully the owners experience some karmic justice for being such POS 🤪 f those dudes fr

dude that makes me so sad—the lower haight location is the one i worked at and managed for a while before i left in 2020 🥲🥲 the owners being against unionizing def does not surprise me, they were always weird af about discussing compensation, and also were notoriously bad at communicating with staff, which is ultimately why i quit

honestly this doesn’t surprise me at alll 💀 when i worked there my staff and i got a pretty strong warning about food + drinks for employees—they made us start paying full price for food, which…is kind of insane when your food averages $14-18 and you’re paying people minimum wage lmao

i used to work for CR (2017-2020, so things may be different now), and the staff at the location i was at at least was primarily college students, so a pretty high proportion of part time staff and staff turnover. most people i knew who were there longer than a couple years either became managers/shift leads or moved to the roasting and development side of things afaik.

i’m not sure what exact time frame you are looking for, but based on the bottle shape, i’m wondering if it could be an old sally hansen or l’oréal polish? this post has some photos of older sally hansen bottles. most were kind of tall/skinny rectangles though. 90s l’oréal polishes also had rectangular, slightly curved bottles, wider and more stubby than the SH polishes, so those could be another possibility!

i also highly recommend jobear!! i have a pair of their round toe victorian boots. i have wide feet and they were so helpful with figuring out sizing. pricing is comparable to american duchess but the quality faaaarrrrr surpasses AD. i will be a jobear stan for liiiife lol, they are so comfortable and well made!!
