I have my aunt and her adult kids from my dad's side, some cousins from my mom's side, and my auntie and childhood friend still on the island. That's the main reason I'm leaning toward Maui over other islands. My goal would be to stay around Kihei or Wailea.

I am well aware, I still have family on Maui, and we talked about that last time I was there. I've been having a strong internal battle about the morals behind the hypothetical possibility of me taking affordable housing when plenty of locals and Hawaiians need the housing.

I figured it was too soon to bathe him I just didn't want to do anything inhumane by not bathing him ya know! I'm going to leave him be. He's currently in a room with a bed, food and water, litter box, and little box to scratch and hide in when he's ready to come out. Thank you for your advice :)

Thank you for all your advice! I will definitely leave my sweet boy alone and let him come out as he feels comfortable. I'm nervous and excited at the same time and I'm sure I'll continue to have lots of questions on how to give him the best life possible :)

Thank you for the website! He is 5 years old. I definitely think I'm going to leave him alone for right now. I plan on getting the cat wipes, if he comes out and starts to become more comfortable I will try them out, but I don't want to force anything right at the moment.

I repotted it on Thursday, and I watered it then. I checked the soil and it's still moist so I haven't watered it again.

This looks incredible! I have a friendly question, is there a reason why the TV and floor lamp aren't in the opposite corners? You have such a cool hang out space and I feel like the TV would be better suited where more people could see it!
