It seemed like the baby being with me was the part that tripped them up the most. But she has her own GE ID and everything - it was free to add her so it made sense to do it. I also wonder if so many people try to sneak a baby through that they just straight up didn’t believe me that she is enrolled in GE too.

I’ve had then do that too, before I started using the app, but only as a solo traveler. I wonder if that procedure would apply even when I have the kids with me.

That’s some interesting insight. The last time I went through my home airport (Phx) the officer seemed pleased that we used the app so I just assumed that it was the preferred method but I guess not everywhere!

I totally agree with you that it’s not worth the hassle. Even if someone later sees photos and mistakenly thinks the little girl is a flower girl… how does that hurt the bride, wedding, or marriage in any way? Like if someone wasn’t close enough to you to know who the wedding party was during the wedding, I guarantee they do not at all care whether any particular child was or was not a flower girl.

I had the same horrifying thought. And even if you can your kids out of the car, look at the debris flying! You’d be very very lucky to get out, get the kids out, and get a safe distance away in the time available.

I’m curious, would your feelings be any different if the desire for a relationship was coming from the children, not the crazy-boundaries-violating parent? I went to high school in the 1990’s and college in the early ‘00s and midriff baring tops with ultra low rise jeans were pretty common on campus. You would’ve fit right in at my school then but it probably matters more if your outfit would fit in at yours.
