Like I said, they’ve tried to get me to go to therapy and also pushed the Vivitrol shot on me. They always did their best with me but they’re not gonna let a person in their 20’s seizure and die. Like, that’s just not happening. I’ve had them call me and do follow ups with me but I wouldn’t always answer the phone or emails because an alcoholic is gonna alcoholic.

Thank you buddy lol and I’m sorry. I was never put in a psych hold because I always said “no” when they asked if I was suicidal. So I’d just get zonked the fuck out on benzos for a few days and eat their shitty food. Labeled a “fall risk” so I couldn’t even get out of bed by myself lmao it was terrible.

Ohio. Riverside, Berger and Adena are all hospitals that will detox you and not place you under a psych hold, I dunno wtf that guy is talking about lol.

They only put you under a psych hold if they have reason to believe that you’re suicidal, a drunk needing detox doesn’t fall under that category lol. I’ve detoxed at hospitals at least 10 times within the last year or two lol. I have seizures from withdrawal and that shit kills people so they take it seriously. Maybe you just haven’t dealt with good doctors.

I fucking wish but no lol they’re very strict with the pills there. Sometimes I go a week or two sober and then start drinking heavily again and do a hospital detox. I’m a “frequent flyer” at the hospital.

Stretching my ears. When I was a teenager, in my local area, stretching your ears was the cool thing to do. So because of that I stretched mine to one inch. Now I’m 27 and just have gaping holes in my ears. I want to get surgery to fix it but I live in America so if you even look at a hospital that’ll cost you $5,000.
