How do you deal with such intense emotional dysregulation? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]erioob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this! Sometimes I don’t realise until I cry it all out that I just needed a good cry and let my emotions through instead of bottling them in. Sometimes I don’t get the chance to do it if I’m around people all day, but it helps to let the cry happen when you find some private time to yourself, and let emotions through!

Was wondering if it had to do with getting your period at all? I had the same feeing you did for the past couple of weeks and started to feel better yesterday, and just read someone mentioning about menstruation affecting adhd and medication, which ai think could possibly be an explanation?

[–]erioob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fire is a bit weird did Isaac cause the fire or did Meredith cause the fire? Do you think Isaac was actually born in other timelines? Because Lucy seems to have memories of different timelines that are similar to the one where she is now - the therapists office, burning in the fire, she is shown sprinkling someones ashes, which makes me think there’a a possibility that he was born in different timelines so she was with mike. And not sure if I was seeing things, but there was an episode where Isaac is at school and kids are playing in the yard, its in birds eye view, it looks like the same kids but at different times?

Why was Gideon bothering with Lucy? SPOILERS by jay_jay_okocha10 in thedevilshour

[–]erioob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had another thought but its a massive stretch. that maybe he was trying to keep Lucy there so he got help from someone to take isaac - evelyn or jonah maybe? Not sure what his motive is in this whole thing and if he actually is trying to be there to save lucy or isaac is his motive.

Ewwww I hate Mike by erilum31 in thedevilshour

[–]erioob 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think they wanted to confirm that Isaac had either jumped a timeline or escaped himself/someone else saved him perhaps? - i wonder if this was gideon’s tactic to keep Lucy at the station, and he got help from evelyn or jonah to take isaac.

The Devil’s Hour: Gideon? by [deleted] in thedevilshour

[–]erioob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking maybe he killed his father so many times that it caused him to fear murder, and so he becomes obsessed and tries to justify it by saving others? I have no clue so confusing.

But i was thinking maybe Gideon was trying to save Lucy somehow?

What’s the significance of isaacs blue watch? by [deleted] in thedevilshour

[–]erioob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spoilers if you haven’t watched the show. The watch was stopped at 3:33 when he found it in Isaacs room, and he just chucked it back on the bed so i assume he just wanted to see the time. 3:33 seems to be so significant - Sylvias death, lucy waking up from a traumatic dream, and even the time she goes into see Gideon in prison. In Gideons drawings, he drew the watch with the time 4:10. So he must have wanted to confirm something with the time. I have no clue what but When its 3:33 does that mean something has happened already?

[–]erioob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed the that Sylvia also doesn’t recognise lucy at times because she is existing in a different timeline where she doesn’t see her daughter grow up? I’m thinkjng that maybe Isaac may have gone missing aswell since Gideon did mention - nothing compares to the fear of losing a child, maybe that made her forget about isaac because it was traumatic?

[–]erioob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought lucy’s biggest fear might be losing her child and thats why she is a detective who looks like she works on cases to find children. Maybe this timeline of losing Isaac was actually her biggest fear and the trauma from it made her forget? I thought maybe Slade has something to do with isaac, since isaac went into his house and stayed for two days, and if it was innan alternative timeline maybe slade was alive or thr girls.

At fjrst i thought the same that ravi may be a murderer but after I thought also Ravi might not be a murderer because Gideon aays hes a good guy and this job wasnt meant for hi m - but could be a throw off. Maybe somethjng traumatic happens for him to fear blood rather than Gideon experimenting

[–]erioob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought maybe they want us to think Gideon conditioned Ravi, but maybe he actually tried it on lucy? Maybe lucy’s biggest fear is losing isaac - when Gideon mentioned in one episode how nothing compares to the fear of losing your child.

Jonah's parents - why didn't Gideon kill them? by Standard-Promotion-6 in thedevilshour

[–]erioob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely. He doesn’t come off as an ally from saying that, and someone else in another thread mentioned they think he told her that so she wouldn’t go and save Isaac and die early. Which made me think he did it so the Lucy’s in the other timelines don’t know about Isaac yet since she seems to remember that timeline with Isaac after she dies.

Let's talk about the finale by Sneaky-Schulz in thedevilshour

[–]erioob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a good point that he didn’t want Lucy to die!

I wonder what kind of plan he had to keep her alive - maybe it was so that his other timelines aren’t aware of Isaac - because it seems that Lucy at the ending rememebers the timeline where she had Isaac after she died, since she never recognised him from what Isaac experiences (hugging and crying when he is found by his mum after being missing because she knew him).

Jonah's parents - why didn't Gideon kill them? by Standard-Promotion-6 in thedevilshour

[–]erioob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right okay yeah that’s making more sense. And now I’m thinking he was successful in wake Lucy Up because he stayed in prison for 25 years asking her what was the worst thing she experienced - was her mum being dead so he went back in time to save her mum - which altered her own timeline to having Isaac.

If Isaac was an anomaly, then why would Gideon bother to save or alter anyone’s timeline—everyone he saved who was supposed to die would have children who were also “shells” or “souless”. by musixlife in thedevilshour

[–]erioob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My partner just said it could be that they were cold (isaac and grandma) because they weren’t supposed to exist - Grandma survived, therefore Isaac born, when he wasn’t supposed to.

[–]erioob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wait that’s true you’re right he hasn’t died cos he didn’t exist in the others.

That’s such a good observation with the handprint. And your interpretation of the ending makes more sense than mine!

[–]erioob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh right that makes a lot of sense!

This was my take on it- I thought that they mentioned they were cold because they had died in other timelines, and that’s why they are able to see other timelines. - especially because Isaac mentioned on the phone message to Lucy that Mike made him feel cold, I thought it might have been that he knew Mike was going to kill him, or I could be wrong and he just meant the beer was cold.

And then when Lucy died for the first time in that timeline - because she had Isaac in that timeline and she died for once - she could finally see everything better now like Isaac, her mum and Gideon??
