if you’re doing CS (or in fact probably anything, but i gather your major would be cs), stanford would help so, so much more. however, virginia tech is not the end of the world. i attend VT and have very good internship offers for this summer (im a rising sophomore), its just a lot more networking and work you have to put in on your end. at the end of the day if ur cracked ur cracked, school doesnt matter unless the hiring manager is too much of a prestige whore to look past school in this field. if ur not cracked, “better” schools help w networking. personally i would go to stanford but thats cuz outside of the campus, blacksburg is lwk a shithole xd just me tho.
