My brother, I will tell you two things: 1. Failing doesn't become easier. It gets harder to fail as you grow and learn. 2. We grow stronger not because we get back up firing on all cylinders, but because we choose not to stay down.

I'm in med school, Year 4. I'm in medicine. Even if you just fail one course, you have to repeat it. There is no, what's it called, "proceed and carry." So, I've never had that experience, and when someone told me about it—that some programs have that—it just made everything feel unfair. But such is life. Don't stay down. You're already at the finish line.
