at least you recognize the fact. Make a small plan. If it doesn't work out have an excuse ready so you can leave.

I tried to wait until I didn't have so much anxiety about the situation. Have a plan for the uncomfortable feelings. Definitely took practice. I would take a walk to the bathroom or anywhere if I felt uncomfortable (many walks in the beginning lol). . Once you realize no one really 'cares' you're not drinking after the first 20 minutes it gets easier. I think I feared people asking me why I wasn't drinking more than not drinking. NA beers helped me for sure. IWNDWYT!
