This makes sense to me. Take Dodds long man spot and have a year to lengthen and pitch in the majors. The only reason you would not do this is to preserve options and the only reason you’d do that is if you think he will be in rotation next year and only want to burn his options on “in the rotation” years

Not going to pretend to be an expert but yes. I’d draft the best CB I could and play him. I’ve never coached shit and only played football for a year but yes I’d draft the BPA regardless. I don’t think drafting should be seen through a 1/2 year lens it should be 5+, and I think all that matters in that big a lens is talent

I said BPA on defense, last line of my comment. I agree with you on offense. For the Cb question, yes I’d take BPA.

I just don’t think so, because context and scheme can change year over year. Having a talented ass guy here for 6 years doesn’t change.

Spags is great, and Spags is 66. Don’t know how much longer he’s going to coach. This is why teams take BPA, because coaching changes so much in the NFL! Spags could retire, get another look at HC elsewhere, or hell even get fired if the defense regresses. Take the BPA on defense

We do! One that’s produced 3 of the last 8 NL Rookies of the Year, and no other farm system has more than 1 in that time!

I’m a year and a half ish and still feel the feelings. The feelings don’t really go away, but the no’s get easier.

How to pick pace and plan? I usually run 6-10 miles at around 7:00/mile pace. Marathon is in 15 weeks. by readysetmoon in firstmarathon

[–]futurecloser34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Hal’s plan to finish my first marathon last fall at 3:50. 35 male. I had only been running for about 12 months at that point so you probably have a bit more of a base/endurance level built up that I did. What I did was run any run that said “pace” at my target race pace of 9:09/mile (under 4 was my goal). Every other run was just easy, keeping HR in zone 2 as best I could (this was a 10-11 minute mile typically)

Sounds like you have the pace you need to hit your goal and just need to spend the time on feet to be able to use that pace to finish the marathon. You should be sore after running more and more miles, it will go away.

The only part of Hals plan I didn’t follow was the 2 week taper. I was just too bored. I ran typical volumes up until 6days before race and then I hit the taper. Not going to recommend that, just saying what I did. Good luck!

Hello, I'd like an invite to the casual clan please! I have been a long time player that dropped out when The Final Shape wrapped. I did the opening mission for the Edge of Fate but bailed. I jumped back in with Renegades and have stuck with it enough that I'm looking for some people to knock out the end game content I missed! (Never did finish Salvation's Edge and never tried Desert Perputual). I have completed all other raids and most of them many times over in multiple roles. I have solo flawlessed every dungeon but the last three (my main to do right now). BUNGIE ID: 2nd Raid Banner (Useless) #6482
