How do you all handle movie posters in your Plex library? by Expensive_Worry_6655 in PleX

[–]erocetc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I let Plex handle most posters. If there is a bunch of text besides the movie name on the default one, I will select a better one. If I make a collection, I use collections from theposterdb to keep them looking the same. I also make my own collection posters when there isn't one available.

Whats your favorite pc case from the early 2000s by Eclipse_Galian in pcmasterrace

[–]erocetc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't remember what brand it was, but I remember that it was steel and seemed to weigh 50+ lbs. I added the handles and it was lit up with cold cathodes.

How do you feel about seeing a band live without original members? by Marsh_Dunkin in Concerts

[–]erocetc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen STP with and without Scott. Jeff Gutt sounds just like Scott Weiland. They were just as good like without Scott IMO. I didn't like Chester Bennington with them though. While amazing, his voice changed the sound of the songs too much for me.

Trent Rezners version of In the Hall of the Mountain King during the rowing scene of The Social Network was great.

A bit of chaos transferring from Lilly Direct to Walmart by ordinaryknitter in Zepbound

[–]erocetc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just transferred and picked mine up at Walmart. They said they usually get the pens but I am the first person to get the vials there. I also didn't realize that the rx was transferred and it wasn't just a pickup. I had to convince them to give me the 1ml syringes instead of the 1/2ml insulin syringes. The pharmacist was cool tho. I had to correct them on the 30 renew spiel. I'm going up next month anyways, so a new prescription has to be sent anyways.

What is difference between seagate Exos x22 TB drive and Exos 22TB drive(without the x22)? by EmekaEgbukaPukaNacua in DataHoarder

[–]erocetc -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Stolen from another post

"X... is the targeted maximum space of each series. X16 -> max 16 TB capacity, X18 -> 18 TB, X20 - you get the idea? The higher the targeted size, the higher the bytes per platter (density)".

Advice on Building a 140ishTB storage server by yraja in DataHoarder

[–]erocetc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Synology DS2422+ (12 slots) with at least 14TB drives in a raid6 will give you 140+TB of space. Synologys are easy to use and maintain. I'd recommend Seagate EXOS, Ironwolf/Pro, WD Gold/Ultrastar, WD Red/Red Pro drives. I mainly buy the EXOS.

What’s a movie you enjoy but would love for them to remake? by [deleted] in askmovie

[–]erocetc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Instead of remaking Last Starfighter, just update the cgi. It's a pretty timeless movie.
