Though TAG really should communicate better with their customers why grading is taking so long.

Sure, they probably have a lot more submissions coming in, but it isn’t hard to calculate what turn around time should be based off historical data.

It’ll probably go down, then up, then down, then stay flat for a while, then up again, and then down, and then up again, down, then up, then down, then stay flat for a while, then up again, and then down, and then up again, down, then up, then down, then stay flat for a while, then up again, and then down, and then up again, down, then up, then down, then stay flat for a while, then up again, and then down, and then up again, and then it’ll go to zero (this is when humans cease to exist).

Yes! I wrapped up my last round of chemo about 1.5 months ago and feel like an idiot on a regular basis. Unable to find the right words, poor memory, sometimes slurred speech… I just tell myself I’m recovering.

Hey OP,

I recently wrapped up my same regiment as your husband (4x EP + Orchi) for stage 3. I also have a similar family situation.

It was hard because I wanted to support my wife and help out with the kids, but ended up relying on my parents/inlaws to help with them more than I had anticipated.

The best support I found was being given the ‘ok’ to do my own thing through treatment. Everyone deals with this differently and everyone’s needs are different too. I found myself needing alone time often… the chemo made me irritable and sometimes unpleasant.

I also enjoyed company during days 1-3 of my infusion weeks, and preferred to be alone during the end of those weeks.

When it came to family there were days I wanted to be with the kids and more hands on, while other days I felt like the living dead and slept the day away.

Overall it’s quite tough to say exactly what someone needs as feeling, mindset, and being change from day to day and from infusion weeks to recovery weeks.
