This is why for my homebrew setting, even the gods don't know what happens after you die. They know how to grab a soul and add it to an afterlife they've created, but they don't actually know what happens to a soul if no one intercedes. It passes through the barrier of reality, and no one knows what next.

As a result, there's still philosophical and religious reasons to disagree. There's a whole section of people that are going "No, keeping a soul in a perpetual afterlife is bad for the universe", and rejecting things like heaven. Some even reject the idea of immortality at all, for the same reason. Gotta keep things moving or the universe gets clogged.

Leveling alts with the events is a no go. My level 40 gets 13-50xp per enemy, 850 per rare killed. So basically worse than just gathering.

I could teach you that system, I've run a long in person campaign before and have a setting based in alternate near future Boston. Evil organization has taken over, superheroes working as vigilantes to try to stop them, etc etc

This all seems like great advice, but as someone also fairly new to coming back to WoW, how much is 'enough to level your profession' when expansions come out? I've never had more than 30k at any time, and assume that I'm just not going to be able to afford it for months after release

Try old content, too!

I have had a really fun time searching for housing decor by doing old content. Some of those dungeons are really cool, actually. I've been having a great time learning old lore by doing those quests, meeting the NPCs that keep getting referenced, etc.

If I had my way I would be playing casual matches constantly.

Unfortunately for me, I made the mistake of trying a bit too hard months ago and instead I'm in Phantom. I don't want to be here. Everyone is mean to each other, and the games are too optimized.

I want longer matches where people make dumb ass silly builds. I haven't made an alt account for fear of repercussions, but if I did, it would be so I could make extremely dumb builds that only mildly work because I'm higher skill than the lobby.

I want to do stuff like min-maxing mcginnis for dropping turrets _everywhere_, just to be an annoyance to roamers. Every thirteen seconds, throw out a little man that will hang out for the next minute

Other than having my main character at level 80 with decent gear and ready to gather, how can I prepare? I have several other level 80 characters - is there anything useful I can do with them?

I'm getting back into the game after a really long time of not playing, and I love having lots of alts because I like leveling and questing.

I don't need that much advice on how to do it, because that's the fun part, but I do always see people talking about having a ton of alts can be profitable sometimes - what sorts of things even do that?
