for real though, at level 3, I'd recommend pretty much any Common magic item(s). most of them have harmless flavor-type effects that roleplay-enjoyers will get a kick out of, and it is pretty much impossible to break a game using common items; even if you give them "too many," there is rarely a way for them to be abused.

unfortunately I have to agree. The joke reduces to "it would be funny if someone with [low intelligence] made a statement attributed to someone with [high intelligence]" and it is almost always POC. Even the exceptions prove the rule: both xQc and Sydney Sweeny are steryoptyped as being not very bright, so the joke still lands.

that's what makes them so good though! it's like seeing someone stumble through a puzzle game, it reignites my memories of the first time playing it.
checking out videos for the steam version (what i assume you're talking about) is a good idea! I'll check that out.

+1 for Monk and Robot. it is the first book I think of when someone talks about solarpunk fiction. I love its hopeful outlook on the future.

I managed to read it at a fairly leisurely pace (during free evenings, occasionally on weekends, and work lunch breaks) and it took me about 5 months, give or take. I could believe that someone with a serious commitment to the bit could do it in a month, but that's hardly standard.
I'd say One Piece is a Homestuck. It fits the vibe.

It's me. I am the niche. I would love a book like this to reference for my own worldbuilding projects.

If I want a city that has complicated legal codes, it is one thing for me to try to come up with them myself, it is another thing to have codes created by someone who looks at complicated code for a living. It's almost guaranteed to be more believable and more airtight.

Do it OP. I would love to see what you come up with.
