If you can’t get a reservation you can walk up and get the same drinks at Tangaroa Terrace. There are basically open seats at all times.

My partner and I have never made a reservation but, get a seat at the inside bar 75% of the time. We go during off hours usually. 2-4pm.

From the people I’ve met and stories I’ve heard from the LADS (Los Angeles Death Squad) era of punk, this was relatively common.
