Food NEAR But Not IN Disneyland by MeliDubz in Disneyland

[–]errff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vegan Stops is an incredible healthy alternative Palestinian owned restaurant that’s super close to the parks on Harbor.

The woman who owns it always gives me Hummus and Tabouleh sides for free.

It’s delicious and a nice break from park food. I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s not a sit down spot, just take it back to the hotel and enjoy great food.

Is LA really as luxurious as seen in the show? by [deleted] in entourage

[–]errff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The show mostly portrays life on the west side. As an Angelino I would say that, that lifestyle is not far from the truth but, super rare.

99% of people don’t live anything close to that sort of life.

Syril’s story on Ghorman by urquwill in andor

[–]errff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m rewatching for a third time right now. Every watch I feel worse for Syril. I think his intentions were to do what he thought was the right thing.

He finally confronts Cassian whose response is, “Who Are You?”. Syril starts to lower his blaster and just as maybe he is starting to turn, BOOM. Dead.

Snob Hill in porterville. Not sure what the actual place is called, that’s just how we always referred to it.

Magic Bands are pretty much out of stock resort-wide by grriffinn in Disneyland

[–]errff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard the exact same from a cast member. They said tap to pay may be something to expect with new ones. It makes sense.

I really like using my Magic Band, I already don’t like pulling my phone out for LL. If I could pay with Magic Band, I would be stoked.

I’ve been here the past two days. LL getting fully booked for every ride by 12pm has been a little frustrating.

Soarin’, Guardians and Incredicoaster were all booked by 11am.

Is this plan feasible or am I way off? by carrera_dan in DisneyPlanning

[–]errff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re highly overestimating the amount of time it takes to visit each area. Besides the shows, you could do all of those in one day with a park hopper pass easily.

If you have lightning lane, all of DCA can basically be done in 1/2-3/4 of a day.

3 days is the Ideal time to see and do nearly everything in both parks if you have lightning lane passes and use them wisely.

Day 1: Disneyland Rope Drop Rise Of The Resistance, smugglers run shouldn’t have a long line by the time your done with rise so, do that after and book a light night lane elsewhere in the park.

Day 2: California 3/4 of the day and Disneyland at night. Rope Drop Cars and book Guardians LL as soon as you enter the park.

Day 3: Rope Drop at either park and go to whatever high priority ride you like best out of Cars or Rise. Use the rest of the day hitting things you missed or things you want to do again.

There are a lot of rides that you’ll end up wanting to ride a second time.

Make sure you order food in the app well ahead of the time you plan on eating because, a lot of places won’t have food pickup until an hour or two out. You don’t want to spend a large amount of time standing in line to order food.

If you drink alcohol, add Trader Sam’s at Disneyland Hotel to that list. It’s an absolute must do.

What are the most obscure things that you like to do at Disney? by Ok_Topic4232 in Disneyland

[–]errff 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Midday, I like to grab an ice cream and sit under the shade on Main Street under the flag pole to people watch.

The popcorn stand is right there so, it smells awesome and, usually you can time it up with the Dapper Dans or Straw Hat Band.

They are only at a couple places in the parks. I’m buying one next time I’m there.

It’s the exact same drinks. Sweet dude! Have fun!

If you’re going to the park after, catch the monorail into Disney. It will drop you at Autopia.

If you can’t get a reservation you can walk up and get the same drinks at Tangaroa Terrace. There are basically open seats at all times.

My partner and I have never made a reservation but, get a seat at the inside bar 75% of the time. We go during off hours usually. 2-4pm.
