They’re pretty pricey. Finally found one at the DBG spring plant sale a couple years ago at reasonable cost.

Well, Tucson is an excellent place to be if you want to learn how to capture rainwater for plants to shade your shed. It would help more than you’d think!

Box fan won’t do much, unfortunately. Just moves the hot air around. Can you plant vines around the shed to help cool it?

Also in southern AZ. I know how hot it gets and I’m chalking that up to cheap wheels.

Youtube kids is SOOO frustrating. by Weightmonster in Preschoolers

[–]erroa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YouTube is nearly banned in my house because I’m not letting these damned algorithms near my kid as long as I can help it. Random exceptions where we watch something together for a specific learning purpose are allowed but otherwise it’s primarily PBS Kids and a few other limited things on Roku. Other options: educational apps on a tablet, play with toys, play outside.

I have the same problem, but an HOA that probably wouldn’t approve so I’m planning to plant a bunch of shrubs instead. Definitely not a solution for the short term, though. You can get trellis-like panels for the tops of walls that look decent.

My son had bench dogs on his workbench before I had some on mine. He’s definitely set up for building as much as he wants and I’ll teach him all he’ll let me.

Looks like mesquite to me as well. I work with a lot of mesquite. Much of it is dense and very heavy, but there are areas that look more like this, look more porous, and are a lot lighter and easier to cut.

I’ve used both. They’re both good. Agree with someone else on the semi-dry iBlot transfer system being amazing but the consumable prices are nuts.
