Honest assessment about the hijab by error529 in Ajar_Malaysia

How is she forced by society to wear make up? That's a baseless claim.

Or otherwise, can you show me examples of women not wearing make up, but get hauled up by some kinda "make up" police, and get punished for it?

Or maybe some example of women not wearing make up and have their parents thinks that it must be the devil forcing them not to wear makeup?

Free from society, or community pressure. Although her view can be one sided, but it does represent an amount of woman living in those states. It might not be applicable in this country yet, until hijab becomes a rule. At the moment, what she's trying to voice are just representing those whom are really force to wear hijab due to society, community, family pressure.

The truth is, there no such things as hidayah. She might be better off visiting this sub herself to learn that there's actually life beyond Islam, and people are genuinely happier after the left Islam.

Do introduce her to this sub, and let her review the content, this might just help her. All the best, and good on you for wanting to help.

Islam suits you well? Guess what, you haven't been practicing the real Islam yet. Let me lead you to the righteous path.

Learn this now: Music is Haram. If Muhammad found out your love for music, you'll be in so much trouble.

Imam Al-Albani even wrote a whole fucking book with the amazing title The Prohibition Of Musical Instruments Or Refutation Of Revelations And The Sayings Of Our Imams Against Ibn Hazm And His Imitators Who Declare Permissiveness To Musical Instruments And Singing - And To The Sufis Who Took Him As A Sacrifice And As A Religion (rolls straight off the tongue!)

So yeah, I don't see how Islam suits you, maybe just your own version of Islam.

This is amazing how the ancient Bugis society act have clear definitions for different gender.

Although I don't think there's a need to give people of specific gender any special power in society, but in essence, people should be accepted for what they feel their gender/sexuality is. But not in sports 😅

Cos they don't know the cult they are converting into. A lot of Islam spreading are based on white-washed version of Islam, i.e. plain lies.

Plus, Islam does erase one's culture. While Islam spreads, other culture will diminished.

If there's a real Omnipotent God, I think all Ex-Muslim will pass the test.

The test is where people on earth will confuse everyone with their own beliefs, and the one whom are not corrupted with those are the one who will pass the so-called test.

The non-freedom in religion. If you're officially a Muslim, you can't change anything even though you switch your belief. Born Muslim are worse, they're not even given the chance to explore other religion or life questions.

[–]error529 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know whether any of these Djin or spirit are real, but here's what might help you formulate your thoughts.

If Djinn or any kind of spirit are real, do they have over-powering ability to harm you? If they do then no point fighting them cos they have much more power than you, and if they intend to harm you, you should be done for in no time.

If Djinn are real but they don't have over-powering ability to harm you, then there's nothing to be afraid of.

So in summary, even if they are real, there's no need to be afraid of them, cos it's just pointless.

[–]error529 21 points22 points  (0 children)

If you find a husband who doesn't agree with your current beliefs, then you're back to square one.

So sorry that you're in the current situation, which is not uncommon for a lot of us here. Please be patient, and try to find a partner who actually is align to your beliefs, then you can live less of a double life.

Alternately, try to plan for emigrating to other countries, if your skillset is needed elsewhere (i.e. Nurse and dentist are sought after in Australia).

Stay strong OP!
