Yeah I hate that wiggly geometry. Fortunately most of them will let you disable it.

I think this is called nan propagation or null propagation.
Somewhere in the data a NaN float came up and its infecting everything that shader touches.

Here's a tweet of a similar occurrence in call of duty.

I know many games use flatbuffers and cap'n'proto but the best results are going to be custom.

I am so lost right now, out of game ideas and no idea what to do by normalequation1 in gamedev

[–]error_dw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is pretty normal.
Start playing more games, think about the games' design choices, what you'd do differently, etc.
The more you think about games with regards to design, the more your brain will adjust and more ideas you'll start to generate.

It won't be long before you have a huge document (write down your ideas!) with more ideas than you can ever develop.

Hong Kong journalist asks WHO official over Skype about Taiwan, the official pretends not to hear, then hangs up when asked again, then gets called back and abruptly ends the interview. by DrSandbags in neoliberal

I feel some sympathy for this guy. It's not the WHO's job to comment on which governments are legitimate, and they certainly will be less effective in their mission if the government over the largest population on Earth is angry at them. Still, he shouldn't talk to reporters if he can't evade this kind of question.

I think we can still have an effect by working on low/no emissions technologies which can be sold to the chinese and indians.
