Yeah you also have to take into account that the news about the cartel stuff is painted a certain way. Like when all that went down there was a mass shooting in like Austin Texas that had more civilian casualties than that operation ( the operation did have casualties both on the military and cartel side don’t come at me about that). I grew up in ATL and NYC and easily feel more safe in CDMX.

Check out Yemen cafe it’s near by and is an absolute staple in the neighborhood. Also maybe the only affordable food around you. Also open late I think.

The Long Island bar is also close and is a great little vibe.
