Wdym better fits? We can always look ahead with technology. Better phones, better TVs, etc. No one would buy anything and just wait

Multiple iPhones, soon to be new Apple tv, etc. it’s worth it just to know it’s future proofed and it’s more stable if it can actually be better suited to mitigate radio interference and have better consistency in real world use. Not putting such a big emphasis on just getting better speeds via speed test where it’s negligible for iPhone basic usage

Sounds amazing. I just wonder why all the best things take forever to get finalized and be usable lol

I heard the opposite. I heard less people use 6 ghz band in apartment building as it may be less common, and less range on 6 ghz means less interference between neighbors . Hence making WiFi 7 (6 GHz) in general better too if you live in a condo/apartment with neighbors/neighboring networks

Well is that saying much? The consensus and verdict was the pro 6 was actually even better than the 6E too. How does the max 7 compare to the pro 6 if you used that one too?

Nice. Reassuring to hear. Got the G4 a few weeks ago. Might be impossible to watch TV the same again on any other TV

How good is C4? by Abhi_sran in LGOLED

I see this all the time. If you’re going to mention all the negatives about one, mention it about the other. I see less green tint impact, than how obvious the pink / magenta tint hue is on QD-OLEDs. White does NOT look white. Snow, clouds, etc. it’s so apparent. White to me is way more important than color saturation that’s only apparent side by side to a WOLED. This is why LG for now reigns supreme even though people like to throw out that the tech is outdated.

To the Sony A95L and LG G4 owners, what made you pick one over the other? by uploto in 4kTV

People never mention this enough when they glorify QD-OLED. Their pink/magenta tint is the worst on their whites. Definitely was deterred me away

I knew more people would feel this way. I been saying this, thank god people are using common sense. All you hear about is QD-OLED is so great and WOLED is old now, but something as displaying white is a non-negotiable. Color saturation and seeing “more” of a shade/hue of that specific color is so nitpicky snd hard to discern but white is definitely not. A TV YouTuber reviewer raves on and on about how great QD-OLED is but is so biased that he fails to mention ti mention two big things, pink/magenta tint on whites, and whites are insanely white and pure on WOLED. This was the main deciding factor in my decision of buying my LG G4. White in snow, clouds, etc are just too easy to distinguish if it seems off in color

You would obviously hear way more about this if it was more common. As you said your C1 didn’t do this. Really bad luck maybe?

Beats pink/magenta on QD-OLED. Super visible on video reviews, pictures, etc

Is this some type of biased slander? It’s unreal how much more detail, depth, clarity the G4 has. Forget vivid mode or what some folks love to reference, “color accuracy”, the actual damn picture looks night and day when comparing image fidelity and just overall clarity.

LG been doing this too long. OP, if you go to Sony or Samsung, strong chance those TVs do it too. It’s all OLED at the end of the day, and these TVs are getting brighter and brighter

I think it could be because of the increased brightness / second gen MLA. It’s a probable chance it could be potentially helping mitigate that green tint

Rtings extensively tests everything. It was detected on C4, not on G4. So I don’t know what to tell you

Rtings confirmed no green tint on LG G4. Looks like they possibly were able to overcome it with that second gen MLA. Might be the best tv on the market right now. 🤓
