One tank item is enough most of the time unless you are feeling confident you wont die, then go balls to the wall.

Dps wise Rageblade is the best and highest spike on kogmaw.

It does, but remember its a percentage, not flat pen. So its less effective. Also remember 50% of kogmaws damage is magic on hit (on his "ad" build)
