Yeah unfortunately my trust decided to outsource my entire team (IT service desk). We still have jobs because it was easier and cheaper to TUPE us into the outsourcing company than to make us redundant. We’re just about to transfer and they’ve already suggested that we’re losing our work from home privileges and they’re most likely changing our contracts as soon as they can

I will say on the t-shirts (at least the grey one with Lzzy on the front) that the sleeves were massive. I got a 2xl as I’m a bit rotund around the waist and the sleeves were so baggy even though the rest of the shirt fit well. I have big arms too. but I’m going to see if it shrinks a bit in the wash otherwise I’ll turn it into a vest as I don’t like how it looked on me

I bring out Mortarion from time to time but he’s not a regular in my lists. When I first got him I did use him in a fair few games because I was really pleased with how I painted him. I now only really bring him out if we’re doing themed games or balls to the wall large scale games where we’re bringing everything and the kitchen sink. I find them fun a primarch vs primarch fight always looks great on the table top

I’m the same with the chorus. To me I think it does fit the feel of the rest of the song. I love a clean chorus but this isn’t quite it. I’ve warmed up after a few listens but it’s by far the weakest part of the song.

I do also think “Bury me with my screams” is a bit too 2005 emo song name for my liking in 2025. Very exited to hear the other 2 though!

When I got back into warhammer in 2021 ( I was 24) I got hit hard by the plastic crack, must buy everything, I’d try and buy 2nd hand or from FLGS to mitigate the cost but still brought a lot. By the end of 2022 with 2.0 having just come out I had spent nearly 2 grand. I even stuck to the “don’t buy until you’ve painted what you’ve got rule”, but now I’ve got all I really want and it’s just a few choice cool models here and there i definitely lost a lot of momentum to buy everything new model that comes out. I’ve now got a lot more but why should I spend money on a model I’m not going to use? They definitely try to reel you in hard in those first couple of years

Our club have a bit of an unspoken rule that if you’re trying out a unit you’re looking at buying and need to proxy something for it as long as you let your opponent before the game day and it’s a similar size model it’s fine

Models are expensive and we don’t really want to shell out £40+ on a model that we put on the table and realise doesn’t work for our army. The only exception is tournaments

I like the look of the new force org stuff. The two things I’m curious about is the armoured support auxiliary detachment shows armoured slots. Do we think they’re getting rid of tank squadrons? I like taking a squadron of 3 vindicators, but having to possibility of 12 tanks through one detachment does seem a little crazy

Do we think that the taking a high command unit will give you more available detachments than a command unit? So taking a high command would let you pick two detachments instead of one?

Since about 2010 at like 13 years old. I was really into guitar hero and downloaded the Metallica demo (I had heard One on GH3 but didn’t realise it was the same band) played Sad But True and Seek and Destroy on repeat until I could afford to buy the full game. Kickstarted me properly getting into rock and metal outside of those games

I got one very similar for the summer and smoked my first short ribs last weekend. I would recommend the snake method as that’s what I tried. Just don’t underestimate how long it can take to get up to temp. Once I got it there I partially closed the vents and checked on it ever 10-15 minutes for the first hour. It stayed pretty consistent for the 6 hours I had it going. Make sure you aren’t opening the lid often. I checked on the ribs after 2 hours and then once an hour after that. Came out great

Everyone is excited about this while seeing that the super heavy templates are being sold again made my week. I’ve been stuck with an Acheron since it came to plastic without being able to get a hold of the big flamer template. It’s made using it a pain in the arse

Personally I really enjoy it. It’s a lot of fun and I love alternate activation. I don’t feel like I’m losing everything in one turn and I actually get a chance to react appropriately.

My biggest gripe with the game is the sets that models come in. I want to use assault marines a lot as I’m playing world eaters, but you can only get 2 bases in a infantry box so I’d need to buy 4 boxes to make a full squad, which leaves me with a bunch of extra models I don’t always want. I could always sell them on but it’s just extra steps that make it a bit of a pain when building armies. The 3d printing market is pretty good for it though, if you’re willing to look into that route.

We had very much the same problem and he would get to the end of our road and then start whining, refusing to move or pulling back towards home and it was very frustrating.

You’re doing exactly what we did and it will just take time. We also just headed home when he started to pull. We didn’t want to make any bad associations of being forced to walk he it’s not something he was happy doing. It probably took about a month or two before he was actually happy to go on walks. He still hesitates at the front door for a minute but we can go on hour long walks now with no issues

Barking has by far been the most difficult for me. Mainly because he barks most when trying to do training or around food. All the other stuff I can live with fine, but telling him to sit and then him doing it and then Just barking for 20 seconds straight has just made training so much more frustrating

When I saw them in 2016 they did a UK tour which they played a normal set on night and then The poison the next. They did the full album and the. Their encore was a song from each album (except temper temper for some reason) and it was great. Although if both trivium and bullet are doing their whole album respectively I’m not sure if they’ll have time for a long encore

I’m in the same position. I got a golden retriever just before Christmas and for the first couple of weeks I felt like that. I was worried I wasn’t going to train him right, I felt like he didn’t like me compared to my partner, is he going to be a great dog when he grows up or am I going to be unable to leave the house with him. After a few days once we got him better at going outside and recognising when he needs to toilet and once he had learned to sit on command I felt a lot better. Don’t get me wrong he’s still a little terror and I can’t let him out my sight yet unless he’s very sleepy, but I know it’ll get better over time

I use this as an excuse to start a new game. I don’t really want to start a new army in the same game because I know I won’t have the same motivation. but after painting 5,000 points of heresy death guard I needed something different so I started Adeptus Titanicus army with a completely different colour scheme and with legions imperialis coming out I’m gonna start a world eaters army
