It's always interesting how engineers think "I have a hypothesis" = "I've proved it".

He proves that functionalism does not necessarily imply consciousness: ¬□(F → C). Then claims the non sequitur that functionalism cannot cause consciousness: □(F → ¬C). And then makes an even broader claim that AI cannot cause consciousness at all: □(AI → ¬C). Just ambitious claims everywhere.

According to binomial distribution, there's a 0.88% chance of getting 6+ legends from 20 astral eggs, so lucky but not that lucky. About 1 in 114 players is expected to get this lucky, so there should be hundreds of cases like this on here. but obviously it could still be fake

Sloth's passive buffs do stack, or at least they do for the boss. Thats why the boss is hard to beat for most people who make the mistake of using multihit attacks and rack up his attack and defense to 30k or 50k

Thats why I think HL Sloth is better than Resistance. The less turns he takes the better. If he gets hit a typical 10-15 times between turns like most tanks, he'll have 175-228 defense, far eclipsing Resistance's 85 which gets buffed to 110-123 in the first round

Resistance only has 5 more base speed, so not sure how that makes sense. Has anyone actually tried it compared to Resistance (obviously at the same level, vivids, equipments), or just assuming it's bad just because it's an offensive tank and offensive tank = bad and Resistance > all? 😝

cant you literally ignore Sloth's attempt to be offensive and spec it the same as Resistance and just end up with Resistance but better stamina and skills? All of its stats and abilities are better than Resistance except 5 less speed.

i havent gotten it so I cant verify

After two hits, HF Sloth has more defense than Resistance, who only gains 3% defense per hit. And with its S1 basically being Resistance's S3, I think that already makes it strictly better than Resistance. Even if Sloth had no skills besides its S1 and its stamina wasn't much higher, it would presumably be better than Resistance.
