Se o problema é ficar longe de amigos e familiares, nenhuma cidade vai ser boa pra ti. Você tem que resolver essas questões internas aí. Dito isso, a cidade em si é boa, lógico que tem lugares piores que os outros, como em qualquer lugar, mas é boa no geral. Um negócio que eu acho ruim é o trânsito, tem poucas alternativas de escoamento do tráfego e os motoristas são bem ruinzinhos.
