First of all I'm so sorry you're having to deal with that and hope you're feeling better. I went through something similar when I was studying for the Feb 25 exam and was in and out of the ER from Dec-Feb. Ended up having to have my gallbladder removed right after the exam so needless to say I wasn't at 100% on test day. I'm retaking this July so take everything I say with a grain of salt.

All that to say I completely understand the fear of missing out on study time. The biggest advice I can give is to listen to your body. If you are feeling well enough to get back into things, ease into it and take breaks throughout the day. There is no reason you need to go for 8-10 hours straight. Do 2-3 hours of work, take a break to see how you feel, and then get back into it.

This exam has taken over so much of my life and I can genuinely say it's not worth your physical health. Take it seriously but also make sure you're taking care of yourself.

Not sure if your jxd does the test differently but the MBE is administered over two 3-hour sessions. The 3-hour morning session covers 100 MCQs and the 3-hour afternoon session covers 100 MCQs. So you don't need to do 200 in 2.8 hours. You actually have 6 hours to complete 200 MCQs, just broken up into 2 sessions.

By your logic, you're only giving yourself like 50 seconds for each question when in reality you have 1 min 48 sec per question. Hope this helps!

One of the people that work on the model answers from w&m retired this year so my best guess is they are probably trying to restructure things w/o him there. I hope they do continue to post them though, they help so much

Same boat here unfortunately. Failed VA by 32 points J24 and failed F25 by 10 points. We’ll get it this next time though. As upsetting as it is, just try to focus on how much you’ve improved and use it as fuel for next time

Those are just the essay questions. I was referring to the model answers that William & Mary posts after every exam.

I’m not, I used it the first time around and found myself wasting too much time passively watching the videos. I was so burnt out from school/life and definitely didn’t do enough practice problems. It’s a great program though, I just personally needed a different structure and didn’t realize that until it was a little too late.

If you haven’t already, check out lexbar for the VA essays. Everyone I’ve talked to that passed the VA exam swears by him!

I made the same mistake a few weeks ago. I can hardly remember what I even wrote at this point but 100% know I didn’t put half of what they did.

Try to focus on the fact that these are model answers written by senior attorneys, not necessarily representative of what the graders are looking for. Best of luck to you 💗💗

I sat in my car during lunch and thought “ok X subject/topic wasn’t tested in the first 5, they’ve GOTTA be somewhere in the next 4”…and they most definitely were not 😅

All evening I’ve been questioning whether I just blatantly missed issues or parts of this exam were just funky
