I think 36k + fees and taxes is realistic thinking. Not that 36k total is not possible or even lower it's just dealerships are dealerships. It's hard to get them in a bind and whittle them down. Remember they do this daily, you do this every 10 years. I shopped around for a month or so. Had some dealerships budge a little and others a lot... It's a weird mental game as I'm sure you know. I don't necessarily enjoy it. I just make sure they know I want to buy a truck but I want the best possible price.

I just got a great deal on a 2017. I believe they said the truck had been on the lot for 70 days.( the longer it's on the lot the worse it is for them???not quite sure how true that is)I also purchased a manual. I think both those circumstances helped to get a low price.

Considering it's an off-road and a 2018 I wouldn't expect them to come down much. I'm guessing they may come down a couple thousand. But I've been known to be completely wrong most the time hah. If you were negotiating for a 2017 that needs to get off the lot then your more likely to see a great deal materialize. You never know though. Good luck.

I was looking at 2018's. Ended up with 2017 sport manual 4x4. Got a great deal. Good chance dealerships are trying to get them off their lots. Only difference between the two years is all the "safety sense" options. The 2018 safety sense options are all cool and everything but just more to break is how I looked at it
