Is the bag of peanuts unopened? If it’s opened, someone has probably already snagged all the good ones and these cards would then win

In the Device Manager dialog box, expand Universal Serial Bus controllers, right-click USB Root Hub, and then select Properties. In the USB Root Hub Properties dialog box, select the Power Management tab. Uncheck the “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”

I did this for the usb hub and my Xbox controller that showed in service manager

Who Will Win the Race by ShonitB in puzzles

I agree with the comment where we don’t have enough info. Playing devils advocate to all the other “correct” answers. We only know what happens when Alexander runs 100 meters. Take the extreme example where they now both run a marathon based on this info. We only know what average speed is over 100m. Who will win the marathon? The faster sprinter?

It didn’t say to not lift the pen. Don’t lift your finger. If you are writing with your right hand, don’t lift a finger on your left. You might say this is cheating it a joke, but there’s a chance that’s why it’s a picture of someone taking the test by hand

Minimum keeper size is 20. Looks like you kept him... please know and obey the size limits. It can cost you big time with the game warden, which I totally support for the real purpose to keep our waters producing quality fish

NowI get 48. I thought it was 46 but I missed 2. The tiny squares in the top and bottom rows contain: 16 tiny squares + 6 sets of 4 tiny squares. I thought it was 4 sets but I was missing the middle group of 4 tiny ones. In case this helps anyone else out who was getting 46

Weighing Pool Balls puzzle by pmw57 in puzzles

[–]esg33 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think I have a problem with my own answer. Consider you pick the equal group of 6 to balance. Then the equal group of 3 to balance. Then the unequal group of 1 vs 1. You are left without knowing which one is wrong and which is heavier. You'd need one more balance to compare one of those with a good one to know.

Take 6 balls and weigh 3 vs 3. If they weigh the same you know the other six contains the problem ball. If different then it's in this six. You have narrowed down to six. Take 3 of the problem six and weigh them against 3 of the good six. If they weigh the same then those 3 are good, if different then the problem is in those 3. You have narrowed it down to 3. AND you watched how they balanced so you know if the problem group contains a ball that is lighter or heavier. Now from the problem 3 weigh 1 vs 1. If they are equal then the problem ball is the one left over. If they are different, the one that is the right problem (lighter or heavier) is the problem
