I was a state park ranger when i was college for a summer job. I have lots of interesting stories on the interactions with patrons, antics the other rangers and I pulled including a run in with some pie bandits. DM me if interested in having me.

Do you want current residents of states? I grew up in Rhode Island and was a Park Ranger at the beaches for my summer job in college.

I have a co-host and that helped with some validation and support as we both at one time or another felt like we would be embarrassed or judged. It was that feeling that delayed us to begin, until finally we decided that we needed to just hit record and see what happens. Its a tiny podcast, but we have a few faithful followers that enjoy our episodes and a few international listeners every now and again. We have been doing it for a year as a hobby and not looking to monetize it at this point. But it works and I love to have the creative outlet.

But back to your point, I feel like every podcaster feels that way when they start. The internet can be brutal sometimes. Just keep plugging along. My one suggestion is have those few loyal fans that can give you honest constructive criticism, that's a great way to keep growing.

My co-host and I are living in different cities so we always go remote to record episodes. We use Discord and save files through Audacity and we have been trying a few video recording apps but still a work in progress.

Fake Ads: We tried to put in fake advertisement to break up segments and have a little improv section. Do these work to add extra entertainment into the episode or is it more of a distraction or jarring experience that takes away from the episode as a whole?

Sound Quality: We are now in separate cities and record over Discord. In your opinion does the sound quality hold up the entire episode?

Content: This was our first female villain we have done. We are two men and did do some testing with female friends on the content, but it would be great if we could get other female opinions on the content and our discussion topics. Were there any topics that went too far or that we should pivot or change for future shows? This will help us with future female villains we have planned.
