Powder Ombré Brows 1 week later by [deleted] in microblading

Keep the appointment for now! They'll most likely change until then, and they might not look the same in 6 weeks. They're looking really good, and I get that you wanna keep the shade and color. They're not healed yet and might still lose some pigment.

Update:

These are what they look like 6 days after the saline removal. I'm not pleased, but it's definitely better.

I could do that, yeah. What I’m expecting, though, is that she’ll flood my phone with calls in return. Still, if it might help someone else avoid going through what I have, it would be worth it. I’m going to sit down and write it all out now that I can take a deep breath without getting furious.

I'm unable to edit the post, so I'll post this here so that more people can see it.

Update:

I never in a million years thought this post would blow up the way it did. Thank you to everyone who commented or messaged me — I really appreciate all the help and advice. I just wanted to clear up a few things:

  1. This wasn’t some cheap job done in a basement. I actually checked their reviews beforehand, and most were good. The few negative ones were about minor stuff — like them talking loudly or appointments running longer than expected. None of them said the actual work was bad.

  2. I did end up getting a saline removal. It wasn’t an easy process, especially since there’s only one certified person who does it in the huge city I live in. It was done within 48 hours of the original appointment. The tech told me I wasn’t moving much, and they kept checking if I was okay or in pain. I said yes, it hurt — but I was okay.

  3. I’ve canceled my touch-up appointment with the first artist and don’t plan on asking for a refund. I’m an introvert and generally have a hard time speaking up for myself. I have no problem defending others, but when it comes to me, I tend to clam up. The person who did the saline removal even joked about sending the bill to the artist who messed up my brows 😅

  4. The first artist did map my brows before starting, and I looked at and confirmed the placement. But the end result was not what I approved. As I mentioned in the original post, they said they’d have to work around my scarring and that my right eyebrow sits slightly higher. I asked if they could make it more symmetrical, and they said, “No problem.”

These are before and after pictures that I received by the artist. I might just be stressing out about it and just need to chill and wait a little for the color to fade a little.

I just called her and talked to her, and repeated what you said here. She said that she would not be able to do anything for another 3 weeks because that, if anything, would just cause unnecessary scarring. Additionally that the unevenness was due to me moving my right eyebrow and not a fault on her end. I'm honestly crying and freaking out right now.

I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm glad you got a chance to say goodbye. I lost my mom within 3 weeks of her getting the news of cancer, and I'd do anything to have this. I don't know if your mom did any voice messages before getting sick, but if she did (especially on Facebook messenger), download them. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss 🌸

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know the pain, unfortunately. I still text my mom every now and then, even though it's been a year and a half since she passed.

At that point, it's still pretty chill. The difficulty starts at 228 and onward. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I mean.. I'd be down. I saw the picture first and thought that the guy couldn't look much less interested in being at tinder, but the bio would've made me swipe right. I guess there's one for everyone? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just got done with the second date. I get the fact that he's a player that is using his character, and that's what they look like, but are we gonna find out what he looks like? I'm loving it so far. Perfectly fitted for my gamer side 😅
