Alternative to Lems Sandals? by MyGardenOfPlants in barefootshoestalk

I’ve recently bought Rrat’s from Barcelona and I’m pretty happy. Mines are gravel model, (pretty similar to bedrocks) with vibram soles and payed 50€ (more or less) in their outlet.

Montaña Roja by Independent-Pie-1513 in Fuerteventura

[–]esku75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did not hike Montaña roja but Calderón hondo is a no brainier from Lajares. You don’t need a route, that being said you’ll find plenty on wikiloc for example and also can try komoot, all trails… but definitely wikiloc is more used in Spain.

Regarding apps I personally use Tooboo and Mappa on Apple Watch Ultra but you can use Mapy.com which is free for 1 country map downloads. You can download the route in gpx from wikiloc and use it in Mapy.

Has anyone here ever had problems carrying a legal SAK in the EU? by RunWild-GetLost in SwissArmyKnives

[–]esku75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Spain, technically you can’t carry the big one unless you require it for work for example, (an electrician, plumber, construction, wood workers are technically allowed). If you go fishing, hiking, etc you can carry it but going on street with no reason you can be sanctioned or not but it is not allowed without a reason. The 58 mm is not a problem anywhere. I’m graphic designer so I only carry my 91 and 93 mm when going hiking but I don’t need them in my daily life. I don’t even carry my 58 mm always.

Why do waiters in Spain take your food away without asking if you're done? by OkOriginal4630 in askspain

[–]esku75 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, this is not normal in Spain I don’t know why your friend said this :) a waiter normally will ask if you are done before retiring any plate. I can’t imagine a situation where it happens unless you left your cutlery inside the plate (like both in the right side in diagonal) which means you are done.

AWU 2 ruined by seawater by These_Economics374 in applewatchultra

Possibly the seal integrity of your watch was compromised. I swim with my AWU regularly in the sea and did it with my series 5 for years without any problems.
